I was laid off from Amazon in Jan ‘23. I was an SDE 1. I recently received a link of OA at Amazon again. I have 3 YOE and I am expecting a SDE 2 role. 

Given I’ve previously worked at Amazon, will my interview process and other process be the same as a normal candidate or will I get some leverage?

Gave my Amazon OA today for SDE-1. Was able to complete second question fully but in the first question only 7 test cases passed and rest gave TLE.

Can anyone who has recently interviewed at Amazon for SDE -2 tell me their interview experience in detail?

Is 2 yoe enough for SDE-2 at Amazon and similar companies? Or would they only give me SDE-1?

Is 2 yoe enough to apply to SDE-2 at Amazon?

Current designation: SDE3
Current salary : 92L + 25L stock
Location: BLR, IN 

I got a call from google for L7 role (BLR) which is staff role in India afaik. HR mentioned Payrange: 2-3Cr

I get mixed reviews from people so asking again for BLR folks: 

1. Amount of focus on coding round vs system design?
2. Amount of leet code preparation?
3. In the interview Is the focus more on leadership or knowing deeper tech nuances? 
4. What’s the payrange I can get?
5. Is google L7 equivalent of amazon L6? Levels.fyi has split so not exactly sure. 

I am looking for responses from people who have actually gone through similar experiences rather than “I heard from my sources”.

I understand people would have the views about WLB & Culture at Amazon, I am more keen on exploring Amazon as an organisation for soft landing after having worked 7+ years in High Growth and Hustle Culture at Startups

I am yet to receive the offer letter from Amazon HR, I need help to understand the following

- Salary Range for L5 Roles @ Amazon (I've been told they are from (25-40 LPA)

- Hike % I can share with HR folks, that won't be a deterrent for them ( Example I am looking forward to a 60%+ on Fixed and 30+% on overall as a bare minimum) 

- Also how is the CTC structure at Amazon, do they include Gratuity/Benefits/Allowances as a part of the CTC 

- Range for ESOPs/Shares at Amazon, since they don't have a variable pay structure

Hi, I have amazon LLD round scheduled next week. Can someone please suggest a list of topics/questions to definitely prepare?

Amazon SDE-2 LLD rouund prep

Recently gave amazon interviews for theirs ads team. My DSA round with LP went good and the lld and hld round also went fine as i was able to come up design in HLD covering metric’s monitoring and fail safe and in LLD i was able to cover p0 and p1 requirements. Got rejection after 4 days and recruiter said HLD and LLD rounds were not upto the mark.
Folks i wanted to check where did i made mistake?
I checked with interviewer also if he/she is fine with what i was suggesting and they were okay with it

Amazon SDE-2 interview experience

Almost all of them are paying in the range of 61-70. 
Which one should i join ?

Have offers from Google, Amazon and Uber

Currently working as SDE-2 at Amazon, promoted some 1 year back.

I'm totally burned out from work pressure, oncalls, layoff and performance review cycles every 3 months. Thinking of resigning without any offer by June/July.

Will this be the right decision in today's market.
I'll take some 2-3 months rest and start job hunting again, hopefully in better wlb companies.

Just want to enjoy, travel to new places and prioritise my health.
Balding and weight gain are major issues, and i don't think conditions will be improving in Amazon soon.

BUT, the job market is tough, and IDK how it will impact my career
