hey all
can some one pls guide me about what are the salaries and roles offered to a 22 yr old fresher at colleges like
IMI, Delhi IMT, Gzb, SIBM, Pune or SIIB, Pune
in the marketing domain? what sort of companies come for consulting?
(a breakup of in-hand + bonus would be appreciated, trying to decipher what holds for me beyond the placements reports)

Fmcg firms will offer a ctc in the range of 25-32. Fixed might be between 18-27 kind of range. This is more or less possible at sibm pune and imt ghaziabad and not at the other two colleges youve mentioned. Also a lot depends on your profile

SIBM Pune and IMT G are the best among the lot. SIBM Pune is a way ahead of IMT G.
Packages can be as high as 22 lpa fixed and as low as 10 lpa CTC. Currently the situation is the worst in most colleges.
Profile plays a huge role in placements. Many companies will reject just because of profile. Loan is an issue but in the long run it all starts making sense.
