Clueless about Career

Rejected BPO offer from TCS and TechM back in 2017. Sitting for six years at home. Prepared for CAT, XAT , IIFT, SNAP, TISS, XGMT, SRCC, NMAT, CMAT. Didn't secure a good percentile. Stopped preparing for MBA entrances and started preparing for govt exams. Still not able to clear any. B.com grad with accounting hon. No int in CA/CS. Zero experience at anything. Currently depressed to a point that I have no energy doing anything. Need help.

Having almost 6yrs experience with single digit salary 😭 every friend and colleague are making a killing every recruiter I speak to just offer x% over last CTC but not the amount I ask stating budget issue. This is taking a toll on my mental health unable to focus on up skilling / working in current org plz help not sure what to do.

A little about myself: 22, just graduated Btech CS from tier 1 college, got placed in a few tier 1 companies, baniya (relevant), and good at engineering in general ( won several actually honourable awards internationally, from government of India, some IIT random techfests, etc). Point of telling this being to get some credibility for the readers so that they don’t take me as a young dumb overconfident 20yr old. (maybe I am?) I really want to earn money, probably in my genes, my father wants the same for me. My dad has a decent wholesale business (around 1cr per year profit) and I don’t mind moving in it as well. It’s recommended to stay sometime in corporate to learn the nitty gritties of life and other aspects. I don’t mind that either. Personally, I want to get into entrepreneurship, but again it’s easier said that done, how to start, idea, implementation and everything else it’s just the tip of the iceberg. People of my age (some of them being close to me as well) have started their ventures and have got funding upto 500k USD and it makes me jls. I’ll be probably joining an MNC and will stay for around 1 year and then see how it goes. I’ll be really helpful if fellow grapeviners can shed some words of wisdom on how to go on here to a startup/business/high earning journey?

Being anonymous gives me a safe space. But life is getting tougher than ever each day. I wish I had a better paying job. I wish I had time to have slow mornings. I wish I could provide for my family and give them the things they much deserve. I wish I had a chance to rewire rewind and restart. I wish I could do more than I wish to do. It's all wishes guys . It's all hopes. . Nothing seems fulfilling. Nothing seems to make me happy. I have forgotten what carefree days were like. Adulting is kinda hitting hard. I am not able to cope up. Can someone relate?

To the senior people in the industry I need your advice badly. My background: I am a 2023,CSE graduate from NSUT Dwarka (Tier -1) college. I had an offee from company with CTC of 12LPA and that offer got revoked. Currently I am working in a service based startup with peanuts as sallary. The work I am being assign here is mainly of Langchain and ML(which I don't have much interest in but can do if required).How do you get out of this company and should I stay here just for experience for atleast one year. please drop your valuable suggestions

I am really feeling bad and stuck, I am not getting what to do next after 14 yrs of IT Experienced. Facing difficulties and not getting good opportunities to up skill and not being able to manage work and family. I don't have soft skills to move to management or client face role, solution architecture. I am feeling my career going to end. Kindly suggest me.

This might look like a lengthy rant, but please bear with me till the end. Will be grateful for all/any help. Much appreciated 1st Company(MNC | Name Appears in PF) - Worked for 1.6 years. Left yoluantarily in order to prepare for GATE 2nd Company(startup | Name doesn't Appear in PF) - Worked for 1 year. Was let go citing performance reasons(Which was completely bullshit) It was just the beginning of Covid 3rd Company(Startup | Name Appears in PF) - loined in the month of June 2020. Worked for 2 months and suddenly they terminated me in 3rd month since 1 was still in probationary period and they said, my performance was not upto the mark/Which I don't believe) 4th Company/Mid Size Company | Name Appears in PF) - Worked for 11 months. My parents were looking for a match for me. Left voluantarily, in order to get a high CTC. No problems here 5th Company/MNC | Name Appears in PF) - Currently working here. It's been almost 1.11 years and counting One of my frien d had referred me to GE through his senior and the feedback that he got was,I have changed many companies in short span of time. So my question is this: Iwill remove the second company from my resume and add that experience to the 3rd one while giving interviews or when the recruiter asks for the cv. And then once everything is over and at the time of offer release I will provide the proper documents to HR for bGV. will this work? Has anyone tried this in the past? The problem is, I cannot completely remove 2nd company as it would reduce my exp and it will create unnecessary problems w.r.t my passing out date and relevent exp And I cannot remove the 3rd company as it's name appears in pF forms. Hope you guys are able to see my dilemma here. Any/all help will be much appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

I am a 2024 graduate. I got a job of 8.55 lpa . I am from a tier 3 college. I regret not doing Competitive coding or open source. I was just doing leetcode questions and leetcode contest. I thought I could easily get 15 lpa job ( my bad ) . But now I want to switch from here within a year . What should I do ?
