Recently I got hike and I am very disappointed, like first they don't tell me like 1 month ago, how much I will get, I was desperately waiting for it, after having 31k per month, I just got 17% hike, So, please tell me is this fine or I should switch?, because I was handling 5 products of their company alone and I don't think so I deserve this.

I'm working at payU payment from 2 years and from last two years they are giving the increments in single digit, is the market is bad ? Last year I got 4% increment I was informed by my manager that company is not doing good same has happened this year again I got only 4% incriment. In my team I have seen people are getting 8-10% also and in other team few have got 12% also, however I feel even 12% is the highest still it seems too low. is this is happening everywhere or it's just payU?

Since we are seeing a lot of layoffs, a lot of companies are using this as an excuse to provide less increment this year. Interested to know what sort of increments are you’ll getting this year and how much did you get last year?

For the first time in these many years, i have got a hike of only 7%, the reason stated is on going concerns in US market. But it is very difficult to digest the same as 2 years prior i got a hike of 26% and now only 7%. I feel being broke as giving an organisation your 5 years of handwork, 7% is nothing. Last week there was a townhall meeting in my office . In that the CEO announced that company revenue jumped 2X and sets the expectations for the current year The hike will be low compared to the last year as the global situation is not doing well. Beauty is he throws out a promise that if company revenue grows 4x from this year then every one in the company will get an additional 10% hike on next year appraisal . I joined this company recently. I don't know what they are up to in future . Is it a good deal???

I joined a startup in 2021 with a 6 LPA package. After about a year I learnt that one of my colleague, who had joined 3 month before me, and who's from the same batch (2021) as mine is being paid 12 LPA for the same role, even though I'm much better than him in terms of programming knowledge and development skills.
