Company not clearing salary arrears

I worked with an early stage startup for 3.5 Years. Since this January they started facing a fund crunch and delayed our salaries. I left the job in May but till date they haven't paid me 3 months salary. Upon asking they say they don't have funds to pay salary, we will pay when we close our funding round. What should I do in this case. Should I wait and hope they will pay or just forget about it any suggestions?

Hey, this is first time working for small startup, it's been almost 2ywars now and this company os not giving me salary slip, I have asked a few times but they keep ignoring the request. Also, being a small startup i don't get any ppf and other benefits. How should I go about it. I have recently heard that not being on ppf may let new recruits doubt about the credibility of work. They have lot of pending salaries and not having salary slip makes it difficult to trak how much is pending and how much I have recieved. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Sorry for the long post :( I'm a 2021 graduate from a tier 3 college. I was working at a small startup based in Bengaluru that is into SAAS. The headcount is less than 20 and a completely remote job. I don't have any notice period. I was told that I can leave the company whenever I want without any prior notice. And it's not mentioned anywhere in the contract. I had a promotion due in September 2022 in which the new agreement was supposed to be implemented where I had to serve a 90 day notice period and salary hike of 15% of my current CTC. But the promotion was put on hold till now. I asked them multiple times but I was told that it's on hold indefinitely due to "shortage of funds". On December 31st I sent a resignation letter as it will be my last working day. Even though it was a very short notice, I completed all the documentation about the things I worked on. Anyone who can understand English can deploy the entire product. And moreover everyone had worked on the product and almost everyone had a good understanding of the product. Sometime in 2021, I received a bonus of 62k which was sent to my personal bank account (the company itself didn't have a corporate account back then). Since the company didn't provide me any work laptop, I was told casually that I can use the bonus to purchase a new laptop or keep it to myself. I made a mistake of now waiting to get the December month salary before resigning. Now he's telling me that the bonus he sent is for the company laptop and it will be adjusted as my December month salary. When I asked about the purpose of the bonus was not to get the company laptop but to keep it myself, he's refusing to accept it. (Almost everyone in the company uses their personal laptop). And coincidentally there was a service outage as the company uses free services wherever available (for example, oracle cloud free tier, free version of slack, GitHub and lot more). So I joined a company through a referral. The referral is from a good friend that I trust. After joining the company, there were issues like a laptop taking time to get delivered etc. After 2-3 weeks, my RM, the CEO started showing the true colors. He started accusing me of cheating during the interview assignment. Said, I should work on my personal laptop (I don't have any) and when I told him that I don't have it, he just simply mocked me for it. The issue is, he is not giving me a salary now. I have been connected with him and HR and all they are doing is making this in me. There is no official notice on salary delay or anything. What should I do? I am a bread earner and my family depends on me. Please help. How should I proceed about it

Guess which company? This is a BLR based gaming “startup” that employs more than 300 people. They delay salaries on the last day of month at 4:30pm by making an HR newbie to post a random ass sorry message. What are the employees supposed to do? Isn’t salary disbursement the highest priority task for a finance team ? These morons boast a “Great Place to Work” tag on their main door. What a waste 😂 Playsimple Games

In my BGV process it was found that I was a junior DS in one of the previous orgs. In my resume I mentioned it as just DS, without the 'junior'. The HR has informed this has come up as a red flag from the BGV company. This is weird. Has this ever happened to anyone and will this lead to termination? If yes, do they also ask to pay back the salaries? I have already worked for 3 months here.

I was working in a toxic environment, which should be a separate post, too long to explain here, tldr, I was put in pip, and then I resigned and put my notice, I like a responsible employee started finishing off my projects and tasks, giving KTs to other folks and junior. but now after this my company is saying ur lwd is 2 days from now, when in my contract notice is 2 months, HR says company has the right to waive off notice period without paying severance. What can I do currently, I don't have any job back up, so have to be unemployed for a while without any severance. Is this legally right from company sides, what possible things can I do currently?

Another year around and last year was dry with literally 0 percent hike. My salary not been increased for past two years and this year my hopes are going down. The PMS cycle was supposed to be on May 1st. We were supposed to get manager ratings. When I checked it wasnt even case and they dont even communicate of such a delay. They just keep it closed doors and this is what I see as transparency. Already I have many exits voluntarily. When I was demanded for work day and night. they said company will reward people meritocritic and now when I turn them back and ask they arent even interested with sharing date on when the appraisal would come. What should I do I feel being cheated after 2 years of working day and night? Any news or this is going to be one another year of their sick promises and betrayals?

Hey everyone, I'm in a situation with my company's appraisal policy and could use some outside perspective. The details: - The company has a 1-year appraisal policy - My work anniversary is July 3rd - Co-founder says new salary will only be credited next month because my anniversary falls "in the middle of the month" My view: I should get the new salary this month on a pro-rata basis - the old salary is for 2 days, and the new salary is for 29 days.
