- Counting of votes for 90 Assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir has begun, marking the final stage of the first electoral exercise since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019. 
- The counting is taking place under a three-tier security cover at 28 counting centres across all 20 districts. 
- Five Lieutenant-Governor nominated seats have become a major point of contention between political parties and the BJP. 
- National Conference (NC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders are keeping their post-poll alliance plans under wraps. 
- Exit polls predict the Congress alliance with the NC having an edge, with NC projected as the single largest party.

Hey guys, what are your opinions on the exit polls shown by news channels for Haryana and J&K.
BJP seems to be losing this time in Haryana after a long time, why do you think that has happened? Is it because of the MLAs that have received tickets? While INC has garnered more than 50% of seats.. what is going on??

For J&K, I have seen interviews of tourists and other Kashmiris saying that development has happened on a huge scale, but the exit polls don’t reflect that. Or is it that people have voted for religion? What can be the repercussions if centre loses its power there?

1. At the end of the day, NDA will form govt.
2. By any chance, I.N.D.I. alliance wins, they will bleed out in a single month as they were allied only on the motive of defeating Modi. Now, since that is over, they will bleed out on fighting over portfolios and PM post. The not so mighty Congress will never agree to regional parties demands.

In all honesty, I want to witness I.N.D.I alliance winning just to see them broken after an internal war. An alliance of jokers.😂

Never been a fan of INC/AAP/BJP but despite all this, I wouldn't want BJP to win Haryana assembly elections. They need to be wiped out for all the mismanagement, pathetic roads, power cuts that Haryana has been reeling through! 
Not voting only since I can't vote against the BJP but can't vote for the BJP either!

Now that the second phase of the election is done and dusted, do we see a change in sentiment? 

I am hopeful for the NDA to form the government, and because of that, I've bet almost all my savings in stocks and MF (haven’t taken any leverage though). But if the results come otherwise, the market will crash like hell, maybe by 20% for sure in the short term. 

I'm putting this here as we have a very diverse community from all over India.
