What are our options if congress for some reason comes to power ?.
I have heard stories how the land was taken away from people and given to someone because they politically close to them during Indira Gandhi time . Any ideas how we can protect myself from this crap of policy that congress is planning ?

Huge infra projects need political backing otherwise no one will invest due to uncertainty. PSUs are inefficient and most of the money goes into paying salaries and pensions. For example railways pays 2/3rd of its revenue in salaries and pensions. For a high capex sector like railways it's criminal to have such a high staff compensation ratio. It's not like the common man was benefiting due to these "national" industries. It only benefited the employees of such organisations at the cost of tax payers.

@potatomato Infra projects work differently tho. It is mostly a risk mitigation strategy. You can read up on Vanderbilt, Carnegie on America's guilded age and how they functioned. Even Chaebols (Korea) like Samsung, or Keiretsu (Japan) are very similar models

Maybe you were not following the news. In Dec or Jan, a private member bill to repeal law was passed. After that several petitions went to court and the court further asked the govt it's stance on waqf act. This all happened in March. I think BJP asked for some time to reply and then came the code of conduct.
