Contacting colleagues post working hours

There is a senior colleague from another team who calls me on my mobile or on whatsapp whenever I do not reply to him on Slack. Sometimes post 9pm. Even when I have set OOO status on my slack and teams. The reason I do not reply to him is because he wants favours for his work. It's purely a lack of skillset. He doesn't google but expects me to spoon feed him. I initially helped him, but he has taken me for granted. Eventually, I stopped replying to his messages whenever such requests came. I do not ignore the important requests. What do I need to do? Any suggestions?

Never never answer calls after leaving office It almost never urgent work. Think of it as off time you don't get paid for

I never answered his calls. I get irritated when I see his calls.

Inform your immediate manager immediately. If that person's response isn't in your favour, let the HR team know about this issue asap. Contacting post work hours unless and until the company isn't getting shut, is not okay.

Just continue doing what you do. Ignore calls. If they ask tell them you don't always keep phone with you.. simple. You will find many such leaches in your career, using their personal connections to avoid work.

I had a senior during my probation period who called me at night around 1.00 ...and few days after I heard from my colleague, him saying that I don't receive his calls .. But this was the most disgusting thing that ... not only this but even during work from office days he would be there in the office but call me when I leave from office ...expecting me to reach home and do that work ...when it won't be any urgent work.

One of my colleagues applied this- He use to say ok , let me just check and will let you know and then use to send an email - marking CC to anyone who is closely related to the topic . It worked for him .

At the start of my career, I used to be available at all times. Then i realised I keep getting screwed irrespective of my work availablity. Then i decided not to be available after office hours. I got screwed even more for not being " serious". So career got screwed anyway.
