I have a IndusInd bank salary account(Gurgaon), where last salary was in 2019 jan. Haven’t been using it since then… Tried to check balance today.
It showed a negative balance of -6500. WTF!!
Worst part, bank employees at Bangalore says I have to close account in Gurgaon.
Would want to understand if similar issues had been faced by others as well.

Hey guys. Got a question about credit card statements. Is it common that transactions that happened during the last billing cycle to show up within transactions of the current one? Because for me now, this month's statement included one major purchase that should have been billed last time, but since it came up in this month, my credit utilisation crossed like 60%. I will be going to the bank tomorrow, had gone yesterday too, to ask why this happened. 
Few more details: billing cycle for my HDFC Freedom Card is 16th. The major purchase happened at 15th of last month. I had pre-paid a major chunk for that purchase on the same day (which is showing up as Credit on last month's statement) but that purchase itself isn't showing up in that statement.
Any insight from some of the more experienced folks would be appreciated, thanks!

I used to have credit card bill of 1.5lac ,everymonth end I will be swiping one card and paying other card..this cycle continues..but suddenly now I realised credit card bill is 4lac..not sure how to stop this cycle.want to be debt free..where to start and how to close...any suggestions? So short story long, I was just checking out my latest credit card bills and saw a notification in red on the home section of cred app calling out that your app is outdated please install the latest version.

Once I opened the playstore and check the app it showed that no updates were pending but when I opened the app again it showed the same message and when I clicked download latest version it routed me back to the playstore listing and now the message is gone.

Does it qualify as some sort of weird app traffic generation logic?

And the short story long part is Maan I hate my credit card bills wtf. Like can't they just like waive off the bills if I have been paying it on time for years now atleast for one month they be like yeah dude you are paying a lot let cred take some burden off of you.

I'm acoustic nevermind.

I was in Mumbai this weekend and I was having street food in Ghatkopar. I heard someone whispering but ignored. When I turned around I saw three people, 2 guys and 1 girl. I continued enjoying my food when I saw that the girl behind me had left and dropped some money. I walked up to her and told her about it.

I bent down to pick it up when the other two guys bumped into me. I think they were cloning my card all this while, I will explain why I think that. I asked them if something was wrong and they said No and went away. 

I checked today morning and 16,731 were deducted at some weird merchant in USA. I was confused, so I instantly blocked all my cards. I have contacted the bank about this fraud as well. 

I am confused: I did not do any transaction on any website that looked shady nor did I give my details out to anyone. The only thing that explains this is that they cloned my credit card and this was their strategy. How to comfirm this? Please help.

Had a bank account of Kotak where it was inoperative from 1.5 years and NMC Charges went to 7900 INR. When I went to close the account they started insisting me to pay the charges.

How do we deal this folks, coz at the time of taking account they said it is zero balance and then after salary stopped crediting they converted  into a savings account with mostly generic alerts !!!!

Faced this issue recently- amount was transferred by someone to my brothers gpay account: however it did not go to his primary account but went to another account attached with gpay . But how is this possible it should go to the primary account as per my experience .

Hi I am trying to see further options of transferring credit card to bank accounts. All limits exhausted in various third party apps I tried. Any more suggestions as creditors are rejecting my new loans. Only option left for me to access funds is credit card to bank account with less transaction fees.

i have received some amount today from Cognizant as salary today. But the catch is that I worked in Cognizant a year ago ( left around Sept 2022 ) . And even joined another company which i resigned from this july. Right now i am on a break from work unemployed due to medical reasons. And i really got some amount today as salary. I am confused - my F&F was settled last year only . can i contact someone at Cognizant ? did they do a mistake ?
