HR telling me that I'm falling in the range for IC3 level (6+

Currently ongoing process with Agoda India for software engineering background. Having 8 YOE.
HR telling me that I'm falling in the range for IC3 level (6+ yoe) and IC4 is meant for 10 YOE.
However with my background and experience I am expecting at least a lead software engineer role.
Not able to understand if IC3 is suitable for ME. Also unclear what role name is associated with IC3 and IC4, what's the difference? I've already spent close to 4 years as a Senior SDE.

I am currently an SDE3 working in Japan, in the past 6 months I have moved from SDE1 to 3. I am planning on moving back to India in the next year, can someone list their job roles as an SDE2 or SDE3. I personally think that there is a big gap of skills between the engineers working in these 2 countries (Indian engineers are better in terms of skills whereas Japanese are really organised). So I want to know where I lack so that I can prepare accordingly.

What is the Tech Team Hierarchy Structure in your organisation? From SDE-1 to CTO? Curious about the structure of Unicorns (CRED, Zomato, Swiggy, Urban Company, Viacom18).

How the current SDE1 and SDE2 will get accomodated in IT industry in future. Hear me out. Currently lets say there is a team of 10 members in one of the IT company. Lets say 4 are sde1, 4 are sde2, 1 is sde3, 1 is teamLead. Now in future since higher positions are very less, how these 4 sde1 and 4 sde2 will get accomodated. In past years, for those who are currently at manager+ positions, when they were sde1/sde2, at that time number was low, so they got accomodated easily in growing IT demand. But now it seems there are already too many IT companies, seems very low probability that count of IT employees in total of India will even increase by 10-20% in next 5 years. Every year lakhs of IT engineers are also getting graduated. They can get that sde1 positions, but what about current sde1 and sde2 ? Do we need to find another career ?

Whoever comments, please explain in detail your thoughts. Need some discussions to decide future career path.

I have 6 years experience. My current base/fixed is 60 LPA. (I also got a 5 lakh bonus and 5 lakh of my ESOPs vested this year making my total vested about 30 lakh. So the total comp is 70). 

I'm being offered a senior engineer position in an early stage startup (as part of the founding engineer team). They haven't given an offer yet.

Being early stage, the emphasis will most likely be on ESOPs. How do I evaluate this and set my expectations? (If I were to switch to a mature company, I believe the hikes usually are between 15-20%? How does this work for early stage startups?)

Hi everyone, I am currently working as SDE. I do my work very well and i receive accolades from manager and my team members as well. But whenever i discuss my growth ideas with manager, i always receive same feedback i.e. i need to know about the other peoples are working on which task and i need to provide feedback in design discussion call. I am bit confused. I know on very high level about the task but not very much context. And i always provides my pov in design discussion if i am aware of that particular thing. My of our team member's work doesn't overlap with each other. In that case for me it is very hard to share my pov as i don't have more context. Any suggestions how can i overcome two above problems. Currently I am working as an SDE - 1(8 base) in gurugram, I received an offer for an automation engineer role from Sprinklr (16.5 base). I am 2023 grad from IIIT and have a good knowledge of DSA and System Design. Some days back I received an SDE-1 offer from a Singapore stealth startup(13 base) but couldn't join them. Now I have this offer, I am still looking to switch to SDE-1 position, but due to the market situation not getting enough interview calls. So is it advisable to join an automation role and look for the SDE roles in parallel? since I believe that sprinklr tag will help me in getting the opportunities but I don't know whether my resume will be shortlisted for the SDE roles if I have an automation role in my resume. Please give your honest opinion and help me to make the decision..

Is it good to switch to an automation role from SDE?

I am currently doing my internship at Amazon which is most likely not gonna get converted to a full time offer (provided the market conditions), I have another offer from EY for the role of Technology Consultant which would mainly involve work in data analysis. I have heard that it will be very tough to come back to an sde role from a consultant role. So I am in a dilemma of what to do next?
P.S. I am more inclined towards an SDE role due to the growth it provides.
