Dividends in August

I received dividends of a few companies' this month. Here are some interesting observations.

ITC dividend alone was more than my first monthly salary 12 years ago.

Combined dividends in August were close to my third company's salary in 2013 end. This time it was about 2.5-3x of my first salary.

All this when dividend paying stocks are never on my priority list. I chase small and midcaps with high growth potential.

Takeaway: Keep building your snowball. It'll slow its snowball effect for sure.
