Diwali in BLR, a sad story
Me and my partner have been in bangalore for around 5-6 months now and we are not going back to our homes in Delhi this Diwali.
But honestly, we are quite clueless as to how to celebrate Diwali here. We have a couple friends here but can't host a party either because there's no space in the house.
Pls share how you have been celebrating Diwali.
The last and worst option we could think of is watching a movie in theatre to keep ourselves engaged.🥲

Make your own Diwali! Two years ago, we were in the same situation. We both decided it would be OUR Diwali. We cleaned/prepped the house lovingly. Planned and decorated the house to our liking. Cooked the morning breakfast and Pooja together. Went for a drive to see lights. Just hung out and had a great time. We now try to do it every year. Just us two. No tension, no drama, only happiness and joy.

Wow, this made my heart full. Thank you! ❤

This still sounds sad. Diwali is about meeting people, exchanging gifts, eating home-cooked delicacies, playing card games with your friends and family. What you mentioned, is something couples should everyday or once every month.

Missing my family on festival I might go for Diwali but it's really costly, will have to spend half of stipend for traveling to Delhi

@Kaka_boom is either asking OP to be the boom or do the boom boom 😂😂😂

Ones who are not able to celebrate Diwali cause of poverty help them by giving anything do it for 1 and 2 hours then buy 2, 3k fatake and enjoy, do all the poojas. Pray to your Kuldaivat, Gods go to lavish retro.
Try to be happy alone it's a superpower which very few people have...

Thank you so much! ❤
