Do you need music for your mental upkeep?
There are days where music is on for hours - either on earphones, blasting on speakers, or just in background on Alexa Then there would be weeks at stretch, where the only music is ringtone of spam calls, or maybe the doorbell By the time I realise I need music therapy, I'm already spiralled way down.
Ah so this is a common experience? I used to think I just had a weird on again, off again relationship with music.
As true as it is, "mental upkeep" makes it sound less fun and more mechanical :P

I prefer instrumental music over vocals. Mostly helps me to think, daydream, focus and takes me on a feelings-filled ride. Definitely helps in uplifting my mood.
When I am outside my home, I use earbuds. Inside, I prefer to listen to music through my JBL sound system.
