I'm about to start looking for a new job in Delhi-NCR, need some recommendations on which companies can pay well! I highly prefer Gurgaon over other places. 5 days WFO is fine.

Please don't recommend Zomato.

Tech stack: Python, Java, Go.
YoE: 3+
Current TC: 41L (fixed) [Bangalore]
Position: Backend SDE-2 or equivalent

Asking for a friend who'll passout this year. He has full time offer from Zomato, Bangalore and Oracle(currently interning at Oracle). CTC-wise there is not much difference except year end variable performance bonus of 5L in Zomato.

Now, he has decent learning curve in oracle but want to join Zomato to learn more and relatively new tech stack. Issue is Zomato's work culture and job security. Is it worth the risk to take Zomato? (not taking money much in consideration)

Food tech market is 50B+ ( duopoly)

Most of my friends use swiggy for everything like food, groceries and dine out.

They say Zomato sucks in ui ux and 3rd grade restaurants are there at Zomato, swiggy is better at offers and quality restaurants.

Zomato peak stock value was 180inr, which makes it a 15B firm, by that logic swiggy can get even 20B ipo.

PS - Baron capital already raised swiggy valuation to 13.9B usd
