Hey folks, have been thinking if MBA is what I should do next. I'm keen on cracking ISB. What is the GMAT score I should aim to get and in general what does it take to get into ISB ?

Share your progress - the journey. - Where did you begin and where are you now? - What motivated you to go the extra mile? - Where do you see yourself in the next few years? - What did you do differently then the rest of the pack? This can serve as a motivation to those of us who wants to improve and as a appreciation for some of us who made themselves a stellar career. Eager to hear your stories. 🔥

I started off as a QA Engineer for 2 years and now close to completing 2 more years at another company as a software engineer (nodejs backend) and recently promoted to Senior Software Engineer. Is 13.5L a decent pay considering i work for an MNC (work from home). Graduated from one of the best pvt college in India, started my career with Cerner Healthcare.. Please share your views.
I’ve been working as a SWE for GE in Bangalore for nearly two years. First of all the WLB and culture here is incredible. I honestly can’t believe how great the WLB is over here, I work maybe 20 hours a week on average and am rarely ever stressed about anything. They’re not strict about WFO so I can chill at home most of the time. No fixed timings and I also get a ton of leaves. There’s no micromanagement and the culture is chill and professional. Perks are about average for any large MNC. We have a beautiful company campus with plenty of car parking space for everyone. Obviously your mileage may vary depending on the your team, it’s possible I just got lucky. The only con is that the pay is shit. Fresher SWEs are paid around 12 LPA while seniors might earn around 30. Not possible to earn 60+ unless you’re in a leadership position.
