Don't stay stuck in the past. Sometimes all you have to do is take that one step...
Went through a lot this year. Come Diwali, I am planning to take things up a notch. It is about time to go ballistic and become the greatest person in your fucking bloodline to make your ancestors' sacrifices worth it.

What are you planning to do?
For me staying in past is always with the victim mentality. It's easier to reason why things are bad and to stay in them.
Getting into present everyday to get out of that mindset is damn hard. Our mind, wants to protect us from failures, hardships hence it always forces us to do the same old things.
Motivation helps for a day or 2, but, the biggest motivator is the people around you who depend on you(accountability partner). If you can get that, the pains you take up everyday become less painful, you start to enjoy and embrace it. You start to forget what it was like when you used to play the victim... Ahh.. If only it were that easy to embrace uncertainty with someone...
Totally agree. Staying in the past keeps us stuck in a victim mindset, it's easier to explain away why things are bad than to push forward. Getting into the present and out of old patterns takes serious effort because the mind wants to protect us from failure by keeping things familiar.
That’s why accountability is such a gamechanger. Tom Brady and Michael Jordan took this to another level by even creating imaginary opponents. Brady would make up critics to keep himself motivated, and Jordan was famous for taking even the smallest slights personally just to stay driven. It wasn't just motivation; it was about having a relentless focus on progress.
With the right people or even the right mindset, the daily grind becomes less painful and more rewarding. The pains start to feel purposeful, and you actually start to forget what it was like to play the victim.
I've been thinking about quitting for a while, but couldn’t muster the courage. Now, with no respect and no appreciation in this organization, I think that’s the sign I needed. The future is uncertain, and I don’t have a plan B—but it’s time to move on. Let’s see where this journey leads.
