Education loan

So my sibling is about to graduate with a degree in Computer Science from a T2 college in a few months and wants to now do MS in the US because of three reasons: 1. Low levels of violence against women(Sexual Assault) [IMPORTANT!!] 2. Want to do innovative work in the US instead of working on copycat products in India 3. Ambition of living in the US long term because of free-er culture But my parents have flat out refused to fund the education or even help her with a loan due to regressive mentality (nahi jaana baahar, 2-3 saal kaam karo aur shaadi karo chup chaap) She has accepted a job offer for now and will make 14L/year. What are her options? Should she drop the idea of MS abroad?

I did my btech from IIT in 2022 and then have been working for the past 2 years. Now thinking of going for an MBA but confused about whether I should go to IIMs or go abroad for an MBA. I need help in deciding further steps as I want to plan it out for the year 2025. By that time I will have a work experience of 3 years. Also would be helpful if people can suggest which are the best sources and materials from where one should prepare for CAT & GMAT.

I'm a final year student at a tier-1 engineering college. I am looking to break into product management and have been looking for internships and full time opportunities for the last 5 months. I've had no luck so far, and my campus placements are not up to the mark this year so no luck there as well. I've done all the essentials for preparing for this role, like preparing for interviews, participating in product teardowns, working on a portfolio etc. I initially planned to work for a few years and do an MBA in the US but I'm seriously contemplating going for a master's degree now (maybe MiM in EU or some MS in software applications in the US). Looking for advice on what should be my next steps. PS: I'm not looking to do an MBA in India. If I go for a master's degree, I want to do it abroad.

I have been working as a software developer for the past 4 years mostly on startups. Pay is good(top 10%) no issues while working everything good in work life no problems. But there is always a feeling that I am not good at basic understanding of development I feel it is because I didn't go to any IIT or any other major colleges or didn't study for any particular exams. I just learned everything by doing it not by preparing beforehand. There is fear that maybe that's not always enough which makes me a little bit afraid of giving interviews of big tech companies. So I am not able to decide where I should go from here. Should I start with masters or should I just learn everything I can from basics to have a solid understanding or maybe some other path.

I stay with my parents in a tier 2 town. We have a 800 sq. ft house which is more than 100 yrs old. We are really scared of living in this home as it is fully damaged. Yesterday one incident happened one of the walls got demolished. Fortunately we were not there at that time. For the past few yrs, We wanted to reconstruct our home from base, but the total cost is around 20 lakh. I have been working for the past 2 yrs but hardly able to collect 3 lakh as I spent most of the money by giving it to my father during my sister's marriage. Guys, can anyone suggest 🙏🙏 there is any source or platform from where I can raise funds. We need to raise around 14 lakh.

A little background: I'm 2024 cs grad from a tier 3 university placed at Zomato as an SDE-1. Getting a good pay of ~25 LPA. Should I be considering a masters in AI/ML field, considering I've no prior knowledge of the field and I'm only attracted to it because of the recent rise of LLMs. I would be open for a masters from India or abroad. What are the pros and cons? Should I go for it? If yes then what's the path that you'd suggest if you've done it or someone you know who has done it? What would be some good universities to target? Or is it a bad idea?

Hi Team, I have an admit from a Boston University for MS in US. The loan amount is coming around 80L including living expenses and tuition fees. I’ll have to take a loan to pursue education there. Is that worth it? The loan amount looks too high. What would be the time taken on an average to payback the loan? Is the ROI justified? Please help. Thanks.

I am planning to buy a house(but in my mother's name) maybe at the end of 2024 so I wanted to have some clarity on the questions below. House price = 100 + other charges? Suppose somehow if I have 70 to buy the same house and I need remaining 30 + other charges. 1. How to get a loan for the remaining amount considering the house won't be in my name? 2.
