Certifications are very subjective and relevant to the domain/industry. Experience always has the upper hand irrespective of the domain. Certifications however can land you entry level jobs or internships. 
  
 Having done various certifications in the past (for timepass and during COVID when I had extra time) and given interviews (non-tech), I'm yet to see someone question me anything on the certifications I've done till now. Had zero impact. There are certain companies in my domain that mention certifications as a mandatory requirement in their JD in hiring posts for experienced candidates and I just avoid such ones like the plague. They clearly don't know what they're hiring for.

Program Manager

Experience is the real deal. Certifications? Just fancy paper. Real-world challenges can't be solved by textbook knowledge.

Robotics Engineer

Experience is the real-world teacher, certifications are just the report cards. But, why not be the student who excels in both?

 It is only experience, helps in real life to perform.

I currently work in one of the Big 4 firms as an analyst.. After completion of Btech I joined Deloitte in Oct,2023 ... After being in this field for about 7 months now.. What would be better in order to improve salary scale - a) Getting masters in management domain from a good university next year then joining as consultant or b) working for 2 yrs and getting promoted further as consultant ( keeping in mind that my CTC right now is 6LPA only)

I am working as data analyst in healthcare sector with 6 years of exp. However my payscale is as low as 8LPA even after switching the companies. I dont know whats wrong in healthcare corporate industry where they just dont want to spend money on employees but have revenues in billions just like any other IT giants, i see people in banglore having ~80LPA and here i am struggling to achieve 8LPA even after 6yrs with multiple awards and recognition from clients and having certification trainings completed. Systems Engineer here looking to adding another skill in addition to(not in replacement with) my current backend one.

Wanted to know what were the different certification options are available to me if I wanted to upskill and be taken seriously for it, rather than another engineer riding a fad.

Based on my preliminary research I am consider these-
1. Andrew Ng course on ML
2. AWS ML certification 
3. Google Cloud ML certification
4. Upgrad ML Executive PG

Not sure about market applicability of 1, 2 and 3 I fear would box me into that specific cloud environment and 4 is just too damn pricy in addition to having no idea about market applicability.
