Had interviewed with them couple of years back. Culture seemed good and people I interviewed with were really nice. Would have probably joined them if the pay was better.

And they gave the opportunity to travel to Europe as well. So definitely worth considering.

I got an offer from Ola Electric for a Senior Engineering role in Backend dev. Pay is good and team looks interesting too. But I am very apprehensive about their culture. Their glassdoor reviews are horrible and the recent interview in YS Bhavish gave was cringe max. I am a hard working guy, will do solid 8-10hrs 5 days a week. But it looks like that won’t be enough. One might be made to work late nights and weekends routinely from what I heard. And Bhavish saying he doesn’t believe in weekends has made me a lot more anxious.

My current company is going through financial troubles. I will definitely have to move. I will get some other role though if I wait for a few weeks.

Could someone working at Ola or with recent experience advise me here.

here are a few questions I would like to get answered :

1 how well do they refurbish the vehicles ? is it actually durable from within or they just make it look good ?
2 their price range seems to be ~50% of the new vehicle price. is that good or are there some better options ?
3 how are the other competitors as compared to beepkart ?
4 how is the purchase and service experience ? do they actually provide 3 free services ?
5 how is the experience around ownership transfer of the vehicle ?
6 are there any other hidden charges ?

I know though I have asked many questions, but would appreciate honest answers on this and accordingly will like to take my judgement for their offer in Bangalore office for Product Lead Role.
