Flat rents and options in Viman Nagar, Pune
I'll be joining a data analysis company in Pune in the month Of June. So can I get any rough idea about the rent prices in Viman Nagar and how costly the city Pune is. If you could list some pros and cons of the city or area that would be great.
Viman Nagar rents are high: 17k per person for unfurnished 3bhk if you want to live in a good society. Just live across the road in Wadgaon Sheri, much cheaper rents. Baaki there's no public transportation in Pune so make sure you get a bike/scooty. Other than that food and entertainment is cheap. Cabs are easy to get, airport is very near to Viman Nagar as the name suggests. The locals might not be as welcoming if you're non Marathi, and the service is pretty bad at restaurants shops malls, so dont mind that.

I'll be going to Pune for the first time. So shall I look for PG options or directly start searching flats?
Book a PG for the first couple weeks and search for flats meanwhile. Don't book pg for the month bcoz you'll get the flat within 2 weeks max, if needed keep extending Pg after that
