Flipkart SDE-1 Interview

2023 batch passout Ctc 32(Flipkart) 40(Expedia) Base 18(flipkart) 12(Expedia) Which one should I join? I am confused about data engineer role.

Hi, recently got an interview call from Flipkart. Is it a good option to join Flipkart leaving Cred. Flipkart profile is Sde2 where as I work as Sde1 Backend at Cred Please help me in here 🙏

I got to know that Flipkart is hiring for the SDE 1 role.It would be really helpful if someone could refer me .I am 2024 graduating fresher.

I'm curious about the interview process at these companies. Could anyone please share what they typically look for in candidates and how many rounds it usually takes?

Role: PM - 1 Total exp - 2 yrs I have my Interview scheduled in a day for the first round which is going to be on "Product Thinking". I have never prepared extensively for interviews and frameworks for PMs, being a PM myself :( Can folks help me here for: - Sharing their experience of the similar round or same company for a PM 1. - What exactly will be asked in this round? Is it just going to be guesstimates and product cases? If so what kind of cases. - Any resources which I can refer to to brush up in a day?

Can anyone who has recently interviewed at Amazon for SDE -2 tell me their interview experience in detail?

Gave 4 long rounds for Flipkart sde 2 position. Did a decent job in all rounds (according to me). Now I am getting ghosted. HRs are not picking my calls from the last 6 or 7 days. Also saw a leetcode post today, the person had the same 1st round as mine so I think he got selected. Feeling very sad because this is the 3rd company that has ghosted me after taking all the rounds. HRs don't even have the basic work ethic to say yes/no on a 30 seconds call. Been hearing a lot of noise around culture taking a hit at Flipkart, and also upcoming IPO. Should I consider joining as an SDE 2 with around 4-5 lakhs of ESOPS per year?

Talking to my nephew nowadays seems like the AI bug has gotten to him. Even going back during the early parts of my own career and even undergrad, ML and stats was still a fledgling field. Most of the smart folks went into SDE roles at top tech. I still remember that even back then, hiring for roles like these were extremely theoretical. You would test even experienced candidates with undergrad topics which was slightly outdated tbh because most of the functions were abstracted away and it is obvious that you would not remember the matrix approach to finding weights for a simple linear regression model. Has this changed now? Because I don't think interviews like that actually evaluate the accumulated wisdom that experienced professionals bring to the table. I mean it is generally a waste of time for anyone to brush up manual derivations or remember SQL niche intricacies. Usually it is better to test for the 80% knowledge that is actually useful on a day to day basis. I mean if the main things that companies test in experienced candidates is something that can be rote-memorized from a book then they are not testing the right things no? What do you all think? Just wondering about this for some time now especially considering the hype around AI?
