Flipkart UI machine coding query

Why some company ask machine coding round in vanilla js even if they are hiring for react role? I was reading about UI 1 interview experiences in Flipkart.

Hello all, I just wanted to ask you all what kind of questions you usually get in machine coding rounds? Like what things interviewers usually ask to code for example create a button, calculator etc. I was making some projects so, thought why not add the functionality which are usually asked in interviews. Can anyone please comment on the type of questions they faced? Thanks in advance 😃

Sometimes there are questions like design in memory key value store or a distributed message queue. Wanted to understand whats the evaluation criteria of companies asking these questions. And if any one of you have experience getting through this round, how did you approach?

Just curious how they will conduct machine coding round for companies like swiggy. Can we use kotlin and develop simple android app based on that statement. Any tips suggestions and most asked questions?
