UI engineer 1 role at flipkart

Hey all, I have a machine coding round coming up at Flipkart for Frontend SDE-2 position. I wanted to know a couple of things - 1. Will it be vanilla JS or any framework specific ? 2. Is googling syntax/methods allowed in case you are stuck ? 3. Interview is for 2 hrs almost, what will the interviewer be doing? lol Please any insights will be helpful!

They are offering me UI2 role for a 2 year of exp. Can someone tell me how's there work culture? There interview process I didn't like as they were somewhat rude. If they pay me well should I go? I have a competing offer that is very good for me. But if they increase it can they lay me off saying I am an expensive employee?

Hello all, I just wanted to ask you all what kind of questions you usually get in machine coding rounds? Like what things interviewers usually ask to code for example create a button, calculator etc. I was making some projects so, thought why not add the functionality which are usually asked in interviews. Talking to my nephew nowadays seems like the AI bug has gotten to him. Even going back during the early parts of my own career and even undergrad, ML and stats was still a fledgling field. Most of the smart folks went into SDE roles at top tech. I still remember that even back then, hiring for roles like these were extremely theoretical. You would test even experienced candidates with undergrad topics which was slightly outdated tbh because most of the functions were abstracted away and it is obvious that you would not remember the matrix approach to finding weights for a simple linear regression model. Has this changed now? Because I don't think interviews like that actually evaluate the accumulated wisdom that experienced professionals bring to the table. I mean it is generally a waste of time for anyone to brush up manual derivations or remember SQL niche intricacies. Usually it is better to test for the 80% knowledge that is actually useful on a day to day basis. I mean if the main things that companies test in experienced candidates is something that can be rote-memorized from a book then they are not testing the right things no? What do you all think? Just wondering about this for some time now especially considering the hype around AI?

Role: PM - 1 Total exp - 2 yrs I have my Interview scheduled in a day for the first round which is going to be on "Product Thinking". I have never prepared extensively for interviews and frameworks for PMs, being a PM myself :( Can folks help me here for: - Sharing their experience of the similar round or same company for a PM 1. - What exactly will be asked in this round? Is it just going to be guesstimates and product cases? If so what kind of cases. - Any resources which I can refer to to brush up in a day?

I recently saw that flipkart has been hiring heavily for “Application Engineer” role. What is this role primarily about? Is this a support engineer role or is it like SDE? And if it is like SDE then why is the compensation offered for this role lesser than that of SDE?

I'm curious about the interview process at these companies. Could anyone please share what they typically look for in candidates and how many rounds it usually takes?
