For the startup founders

Hey folks, i m a wannabe be entrepreneur. My reasons are simple I like problem solving and I want to create a secondary source of income. How do you find those problems? I feel you guys stumble upon problem statements through your own experiences. Ohh and one more thing, if there are any solopreneurs here on grapevine, let me know your thoughts as well as your journey too. Cheers :)

I feel like this is something that’s fundamentally wrong. I could be mistaken as I’m still very early in my “professional journey”. But I doubt any one can become an entrepreneur before they start something.

Like isn’t it something that you first figure out a problem then find a solution to that problem and only post that being a success will you be an entrepreneur?

Happy to be corrected though.

hmm. Your thinking is correct. But I am curious about how do you spot such problems or had spot if u r on that path :).

Take a look around. It’s mostly going to be a problem you face personally or something around you that you think you could fix or find a better alternative than what’s currently there.

Do your research, figure out if the solution that you have is scalable and can survive in the long run. Interact with people who are into the same kinda industry. Maybe find a mentor who’s doing something that you want to do and that’s it.

I am following this. :) I'm a solo founder (not a solopreneur). Raised good money but didn't draw salary, etc. (unnecessary heroism as in the end no one cares). Now, running in revenue only which is enough for my team but not for me. So day and night, thinking of a microsaas build to generate passive income (as luckily I am a coder). Now, exploring the whole AI angle.

I feel you are on the right track. You must continue to think like this. First figure out what would make your life easier, then look at the distribution mechanism eg. App, WhatsApp, Emailer, Chrome Extension, etc. Go for a MVP and LAUNCH (can't stress the Launch part enough!). If it works, then can make it freemium. Else, listen to the feedback, rinse and repeat the process.
