Can’t think of good startup ideas!

Hey everyone, We've got an exciting journey ahead, and we're at a crossroads. Our AI startup is all set to take off, but we're fighting with an important question: should we seek funding for our startup ? Here's the scoop: Our team is hard at work on a game-changing problem-solving service platform. Right now, we've got the skills to create the entire product, but most of us are Python enthusiasts, and we could use some extra hands with diverse talents to take our venture to the next level, which do require funding. The story behind our decision to dive into the startup world is the success of our previous project. It gained some impressive traction, fueling our desire to turn it into a startup. But there's a hurdle on the horizon - funding. And also the investment landscape is in a bit of a winter chill right now. And we don't know much about the process of funding 😕. feel free to drop your advice in the comments below.

Been long since I wrote here. A casual post to discuss anything startup/VC related. Which startups are doing good, which ones not too good. Especially if you're a founder - how is the market feeling? My pov: despite the excess capital with VCs, funding is still very much dry. For a bit during the last year, there was a flurry of investments in SaaS and AI. Even that has dried up now. Slowest I have seen. Why: I think there's no push factor to invest, there's a lack of people starting up (vs. previous years). Awaiting some inflection point, so that things kickstart again.

I've a great idea and it's validated after talking to more than 50 founders/head of sales. Questions - 1. What's the process of getting a domain/and checking if the domain/product name is not a brand name globally anywhere? 2. Wrt raising funding, any founders here who can throw some light on how much salaries you used to take? I am not very inclined towards bootstrapping rn. 3. What were the challenges wrt starting your website, getting it validated by running ads etc? Maybe some D2C founders can help me out here. 4. What tools did you use for your first MVP launch? Thanks

What is the reason for this? Lack of pay, Lack of cutting edge research?

Let's say you want to start a start up like a scalar academy. How would you go about it? Will you do marketing first to bring in customers or register as a company? Start hiring people or spend on ads? Just curious to know how people start up, and what's their first step. Please share your insights, it might help someone start later on. Thanks for the input

After Shark Tank, we have seen Indian Angels and StartAb but I believe the actual problem is still not being solved. Tbh, more than 90% of companies shown in these TV shows are more like businesses rather than startups with not so unique MOAT or tech platforms. Moreover, they are about funding businesses that are already revenue generating and negotiating equity deals with half of the show time is all about equity negotiations only. Still there are many with some unique ideas in tech landscape who are in search of Tech Co-founders to build the platform and many couldn't find one resulting in not starting their startup. What are your thoughts on a new show completely for Aspiring Entrepreneurs with unique ideas in tech with no revenue or product most for ones seeking help in building product/tech and stories where even an investment of Rs. 1 lakh can bring a big difference bcz even without that 1 lakh they could have never turned that idea into MVP and start that journey
