Found out that my company hasn't made any TDS payments

Just downloaded my form 26 to be prepared for tax filing and found out that my company hasn't made any TDS payments. It just says no transactions are present. What are my options cause I am getting a little scared now 🥲?

Been there, done that. First and foremost, Don’t be scared. If they don’t file your taxes, IT dept won’t know about the transaction in your account. File your taxes basis AIF and Form 26AS report that you see. Do not and I repeat DO NOT!! change the values you see on the portal.

If you don’t want to risk it, just send them an ultimatum that you’ll be taking a legal action against them and reporting them to Tax authorities. Talk to a CA and ask them to send reminder/ultimatum. They will shit their pants if CA gets involved.

Lol if they haven't filed returns for Q1,2,3, then puri daal kaali hai, if 26AS is blank then yeah they've not deposited any TDS

Pay tax out of own pocket or wait for co to give form 16, ig they'll delay, I hope your salary isn't getting delayed

Checked online, looks like tds payments have to be made every quarter so that's two quarters already missed now.

Btw initially my company said that I'll only get form 16 if I've completed a year in the company. I had to really push to get them to agree to give it. Now I'm not sure if it'll happen.
