From Barrel to Brew: The Oily Truth
The first oil well was drilled in 1859 in Titusville, Pennsylvania, producing about 25 barrels a day—quite impressive for its time! Today, we have rigs that can pump thousands of barrels daily. It’s fascinating to see how far we’ve come, but sometimes I wonder if those early drillers realized they were creating the world’s most expensive ‘black gold’—and that one day, we’d be debating whether to fuel our cars or our coffee machines!

Interesting perspective. Black gold when it drives our own progress, black smoke when others seek the same path.
