GV team, the pop section is really buggy

Since yesterday night I have been unable to reply to anyone in one go in pops. Last night, I had to resort to closing and reopening the app 4-5 times, only then I was able to send replies. Today morning it seems that luck has also 'expired' :) I was trying to reply to someone as they had asked me a question, but after 20 minutes, I had to resign to DM them. I can understand that bugs happen, but if the app is going to cause this much of frustration to send a single reply (that too I only went through because I wanted to help out), you can be assured that your users are just going to call quits on GV. P.S. The system 'back' button also doesn't work with pops. I can only close them from GV app's back arrow. This has been the case from the starting of pops.
