I am currently preparing for product management interviews. When I try to solve case studies I am not able to empathise with Gen Z. When someone asks to improve an app I am like, "dude it already has so many features what else do you want". When I read the pain points of Gen Z I don't even understand how can such simple things can be a pain points for someone. It is like people don't want to do anything on their own

What are some of your interesting takes on your GenZ co-workers?

They talk about restuarants alot. I think 60% of their conversation is around which restaurant or pub is "cute" or "vibes".  
 But that might be a Bangalore thing. 
 Also they watch alot of Indian OTT and nothing else. 
 Saare chutiya indian shows dekh liye but Oppenheimer nhe dekhi abhi tak, which is shameful.

GenZ are the most diverse generation (accelerated by growing up with the internet since we were 4 years old) and you cannot generalise by saying 'this is genz' because no matter what, not even 30% of us are similar.
  
Yes, we run after validation on Instagram. And yes it's unhealthy. But it's not fair to single us out. Older generations have also been obsessed with TV News, FB and Twitter. No need to deny, we all know.
  
GenZ also more openly talks about mental health and we call out things which the older generations just accepted as 'aisa hi hota hai'. Think Gender Inclusivity, Harmful Climate Practices, Running after only Salary, Marriage and Kids, Jobs where you're not treated with Basic Human Dignity, Shitty Mental Health, etc. 
 
We're conscious about prioritising our mental health, even though it's tougher for us than ever before, so we're sorry if our calling things 'toxic' annoys you a little.

We're all extremely concerned about Climate Change because we know we're the last generation which can fix this.

Are these guys playing for valuation game or they really want to build profitable business out of it ??

Please correct me if i m wrong , also paying influncers butt load money wothout knowing the ROI , i think influncer marketing is a bubble which is yet to burst and the next phase is influencer led sales !!!

Hey Folks!

I was planning on launching a new age social media application.

What are some good strategies I can apply to growth hack that shiz. 

Im planning paying some Twitter/LinkedIn/Instagram influencers and asking some of my buddies who have  a good following to post screenshots of the app. To make  it look organic, they’ll post some topic to rile up the audience and get that engagement. Also we are planning to not mention the app name in the tweet but always have it in the replies so it looks organic and is if our app is already the talk of the town

Does anyone have any suggestions? Does this sound like a good plan. I paid a freelance growth consultant a lot of money for this plan. How does it sound?  Anyone has any thoughts? Folks?

I have saved up close to a lac from my Internships, will be starting FT soon. I was thinking of YOLOing my entire savings by buying Zomato shares.

I really believe the company will grow multifolds in the future, also I won’t have qualms if they don’t do well and I end up losing my money.

I feel it’s better to take a bet on this as the money isn’t really significant and is better used if Invested somewhere. I might just end up wasting it buying AJ1s, Airpods and all that expensive stuff.

What do you guys think about this? What’s your view on Zomato’s future?

PS- No Index funds, MF advices pls. I’ve done enough research and will Invest once I start getting monthly salary from my FT Job.
