But okay, let me assist you with a few things that can help you with it.
Write down your return expectations
Write down the loss of capital that you can digest.
If your return expectation is 20-25% at the end of the day, go with some Smallcase or a high risk mutual fund (if it fits with your risk appetite)
If your return expectations are more & you can take significant risk, go with some sort of positional trading strategy like - Arbitrage or Momentum.

@randomly when market is in a bill run - fundamentally strong companies will go up. These companies are historically been overvalued during a bull run, the opposite with a bearish market, it could do really bad during a bear run and hence these stocks become undervalued.
Wherever you invest, make sure to diversify your portfolio. Don’t just buy one stock and believe that it will make you rich. Find sectors like banking, financial services, insurance, health care, real estate all can go up during this time.
I anticipate a 20% correction soon. But I believe the market would do well until the elections, so invest sensibly. Good luck!
