Good time to switch?

1.5 YOE in UI/UX. Most of it in a health-tech b2b startup as the sole designer (yes it was hard, yes i did manage to do major 0→1s here).

I'm applying to HCI unis in EU, and if that goes well, i can leave my current job on July 31. But just in case, i would like to have backup plans for a switch.

Do i keep the projects i did here on my portfolio? What are recruiters looking for now? How do i approach this situation and any good places to start with?

Of course! Please please please back up all projects, reports, data driven impacts of your projects, accolades from your jobs always!

Why EU? Why not US Aren't job opportunities more in the US
What's the ROI in the EU can you share the names of some good universities in EU

for a second i thought you had insights 🥲 choosing EU was just a lifestyle choice man, plus i have friends in unis and industry there.
