Lately, I've been thinking that as an Indian, it's a matter of pride that the CEOs of many big giant companies are Indian. However, I'm concerned that they might bring a 'employees are slaves' culture to these companies, similar to Narayan Murthy. While Indians are hardworking, those Western CEOs often focus more on work-life balance.
I wish Indians wouldn't lead these big companies.
When people are not sure if their job is long term or not, then this happens. They can’t take decisions based on they will be doing this job and get money consistently.
Layoffs are the main reason for above recently.

Totally agree on this. I do think this attitude comes out when they are desperate to prove that they are good. As a part of management their focus will always be on profits., coupled with this mentality they end up screwing a lot of people.
