There is a guy in LinkedIn who has almost 50k followers, in his profile he has mentioned, he works in MICROSOFT

I used to read his blogs , so I thought as we are in same company, I was curious to know in which team he is in. So u tried to search him & there was no profile. No person in this name at all

His LinkedIn shows his profile is validated but am not sure about this cause, we can connect to any MICROSOFT FTE, but his name was not found. He is absolutely lying

Has any recruiter asked you to share PAN number before even scheduling interviews?
I recently got a call from Physics Wallah recruiter and after exchanging common information she demanded PAN number to which at first I refused then told her I’ll share over email. I said that so that I could check if she is not a scammer. I also asked her why it is necessary? To which she provided generic BS(to put into portal, big companies also ask this). Verified from truecaller and linkedin that she is indeed genuine. But anyways I didn’t feel comfortable to share a sensitive government ID before even having interviews. I told her my reasons and she rudely said they won’t be able to proceed further and I said no problem!

Request everyone to refrain from these practices otherwise this will become a norm. You don’t know in whose hand your ID will go and how and where they will store this info. Cut the BS and just say no.

But their portals like UIDAI and Voter Service Portal never seem to be working properly any given day

i have been trying to login with UIDAI to check my aadhaar update status but the server request fails 9/10 times, The OTP generation fails most of the time,

Voter Service Portal throws CORS errors when i upload my passport size photo in new voter id application form.

This has been the situation with almost all the government websites for many years, why no one is fixing it?
