After working for 2 years as a Frontend dev fresh out of college, I was looking to prep for a change now. 

A lot of what I searched about frontend interviews involved JS/HTML/CSS and some framework-specific fundamentals which makes sense. However, I've also seen a lot about people brushing up on algorithms, practising leetcode which I found painful since it rarely pops up in actual work, if at all.

Any idea on what I should focus on? Or any help when navigating the interview process?

I had 2+ years of Experience in ReactJs earlier, then from the last 1 year I am working in the CyberSecurity space. 

Could anyone help me, what minimum ReactJs is required to crack a job interview for 3 years experience Candidate?

It would be beneficial to prepare for the interviews!!

Hi all, I have around 2 years of experience, and I am getting a chance to interview with Google. I am currently working on frontend, but I want to move to backend and I have been preparing for that, but with phone screen round coming up, if I tell them I have worked on Frontend, then I will definitely be considered for frontend role and if I lie there, then I might fuck up interview if they ask backend questions, any suggestions will be appreciated. What should I be doing in this case, Thank you!

Brief about me - I have around a year of experience working as a Frontend developer, primarily with ReactJS.

Its been some time since I touched the basics and tbh I've not given time to it earlier also (i switched fields and prepare in around 8 months mostly doing DSA and Frontend development)

I am looking for advice to for the preparation strategy to move to new job, I am looking for roles in frontend/Full stack development.

Please tell me the essentials I should have under my bag and some of the things to give my resume an edge

Job switch prepration strategy

Hi folks, I have 2.5 yr of experience in react native and JavaScript combined with current CTC of 12 LPA. Few months of experience in frontend. Currently I want to switch from my react native position to frontend position without taking a pay cut. How much is it different from react native and where should I be focusing the most. 
Reason for switching: I am not comfortable in current organisation with the way management works and I am also tired of react native.

I have 3 yrs of experience after my graduation, 8 months of backend experience and  from past 2.4 months I am into  frontend project. 

Now I'm planning to switch trying to start preparation. I have ready with DSA rounds , coming with system design rounds I have a  confusion. Should I need to prepare for frontend or backend system design topics

If I joined in another company should i start my carrer as a sde2 or sde1. If i join for SDE2 position can i catch backend to team standard.

I'm a frontend dev, with close to 5 years of workex. I've been trying to switch to a full stack dev role for a couple of years now. Tried switching internally, but it didn't work because there were too many backend devs and too much dependency. 

Stuck with an infinite leetcode loop, did online courses but couldn't put those skills to work in building projects.
 
I'm looking for some advice with a focus on cracking the interviews. The plan is to take up a Full stack dev role in the next 3 months.

I am appearing for the interview for the first time because I have been working in my current company for the last 5 years, where I was hired from campus placement only. I want to be fully prepared for the interview. Can you share the questions that might be asked, including the technical questions?

Can i switch my career from frontend to backend as I am having 3.5 years of experience in react. If I can, than how, as whenever I try to do so i am not shortlisted for backend role. Also in my company it's difficult to switch as they are not allowing to do so ?

Need to switch from frontend to backend

Experienced and Senior devs ,I need suggestions regarding what skill set is expected from a 1 year old full stack developer (stack- REACT, JAVA/KOTLIN ,Docker ,AWS) 

So apart from DSA and Core CS subjects what else should I focus on. I am aiming to switch to very good product based companies and startups also open for remote working opportunities.

I am working as a front-end developer in a startup for 2+ years and i want to switch to a different company.

The problem is I have only worked on the frontend in my current job though my designation is SDE in my offer letter. I don't have much knowledge about backend either.While applying for jobs the JD says i should have work experience in backend tech so in this case should I apply to those jobs or not.There are very few job openings for frontend and everyone is asking for full stack.

Will my interviewer asks questions for backend also though I have not worked on it? Or should I only focus on DSA.I have a good knowledge on frontend.

Should I just focus on frontend and DSA for my interviews? I am planning to Target FAANGM and good product start-ups
