Difficulties while using Grapevine
Here, we help the grapevine by giving the whole problems that we facing while using the grapevine app. And it helps them to make the app more smooth and user friendly.
Grapevine lacks engagement - which I believe could kill this app. Which would be sad, given how helpful it can be. What are some of the ways we can help the makers of this app boost engagement?
Feel free to post any idea which you may have. The makers will thank you!
I don’t think it will kill it. Engagement will come in slowly and it’s not a tedious task I think they’re already doing good. they’re bootstrapped and haven’t raised so if they raise I am funding them. And as the time goes by they will be very successful
A karma points kind of system similar to Reddit is required which pushes users to engage with posts. Badges and Tiers etc can help too. Also, every social media network tends to decline if no new product features are being added or new ways to consume content are not consistently being added. Think fb posts, quizes, videos, igtv, reels, stories, etc
Also, there are 2 metrics that they should work on: Decreasing No-comment posts% ie make sure atleast 1 comment is there on each post and Increasing Avg Engagement/post (engagement = likes+comments+shares)
An organic way to do it would be to get more users. That way you'd find more people interested in a given topic and consequently more engagement
One of the things they can do is incentivize top contributors by giving them more social recognition currency like reddit.
How’s it lacking engagement? Every other day someone queries on “how to ask out the cute girl in the office”
