Guidance-Switch from a self employed contract work to full time SWE.

I’m in a contract with a European company with approx turnover of 35LPA in hand. Now since the income is classified as business the taxes I pay is way less compared to a salaried employee in india. How much salary should i expect on a transition towards a FT employee? Considering I’m applying for SDE2 with 4YOE.

Why would u want to pay more taxes to the govt business makes it easier for u to make money

It's not just about the money for me. I want to see how I compare and find out which companies in India offer competitive pay like they do.

Also i never switched companies. You’ll be surprised its the first company I’m working in since I graduated.

I believe companies play a major role in shaping a software engineer's career path.

Sure do change if it's been long and probably do the calculations after cutting taxes how much is in hand in thar case

I am and sde. Earning less as I have to have wfh. 15-20lpa, currently in lead with about 6+ yoe. Plus some on the side.

But how do I make the switch.
