Guys, why can't you answer more than one question at a time?

I don't know about brother or male friends but if a guy is really, really into you, he will reply to every damn thing.

Think it's about putting out fires. You out out the most imminent one first. If the fire is put out, amazing. Otherwise if other smaller fires become big ("Answer this one too"), the you start the process again

Those guys you are chatting with, just don’t care for you, or what you think. They reply just for the sake of it. I always reply to all questions. Usually guys reply with twice the intensity, if they are really interested. If not, what you wrote, is what they may do.

It’s not a gender thing. Only people who care about you as much would answer multiple questions at once. And pretty stupid and entitled to just shoot the questions at the other person. Have some empathy, have some patience, decency to ask one question at a time.

try to phase the question in a subtle way so it doesn't seem like a question.

I must say Men talks are more practical with versatile dynamics.

I think it’s usually a huge thought process. The single thread process is sorta true. If I start reading a question I will start processing it, but when I see the next one it immediately supersedes and I literally forget about the previous and so on and so forth. But in my mind it feels like I already took care of question 1 and question 2. Only when I see those “what about this”, I would be like fuck I didn’t respond to that. Maybe I am weirdly wired but this happened to me all the time. I don’t like it either

OOOH FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE SAID IT! Such a stark difference I've noticed with men and women to the point where I now make it very clear that I expect responses to all my texts if the conversation is to move forward

Because asking questions is easy... Answering is tough

I guess it depends on medium, I don't even open text messages may that be on any app. But on call or in person I will give you a proper detailed answer as if I am handing over sop verbally

We have more single core processing than multi core processing.

Being a man myself, I think its about answering one question extremely well. Also I kind of disagree with the premise but I will indulge for the sake of conversation. Most men also tend to be realists which weighs in on the fact that we would rather think well and answer extensively than talk quick and misinform. I have been asked the same by my gf before but I could never pinpoint the reason; also, I dont think Its difficult to answer multiple questions at once.

I've experienced it the other way round too

I have learnt the art of replying to every question individually by marking them. I have realized it's important for girls to know the answer to each one of it although one answer might answer all questions partially. @Peahen I think your bf and brothers can learn this only when they realize it's important for girls to get answers for everything which might not be important to them.
