Why do our society don't value MEN MENTAL HEALTH?
A Man has lot more responsibilities than women. Family, career, love. Why do Men mental health being so ignored. We don't share like women do but we are going through a lot. We are not expressive by nature. Our society shows so much love, respect to women why not same for MEN? Why aren't they treated equal? What do you guys feel?

All it takes for you to be dumped is to cry once. The diplomatic and morally superior sounding arguments never work in real life. Every woman pretend to be morally superior by promoting equality while there is no reason for a man to hit a woman if he is hit first by the woman. Care to explain.

Let's be honest. This all patriarchy jibe is BS. At the end of the day a girl wants her man to be successful and not a struggler. A weak man has to overcome and become strong. No other choice.
Jo log vulnerable men, patriarchy ki baatein kar rahe hai wo sab hawa hawa me hai....though there is a small segment of actually empowered women...who are "OK" with a struggling man, albeit it is only a temporary phase, NOTHING MORE.

Reasons are manifold. Primary i think is the feedback mechanism. Women don’t like something, they complain and cry, and things get better. They realize their complaining does improve stuff, many times if not all. So they talk about the issues, about what they feel, and somehow get the solutions. Some fluffer somewhere would help them out.
For a man, the feedback loop is different. It’s not just perceptions, not that weak men are unattractive, but men don’t share among other men either. Cos they don’t find solutions this way, things don’t get better when they talk about it. So they don’t.
Regarding therapy , many men have tried it, it doesn’t work for them. Most therapists are well equipped to deal with a woman not man. The conversations need to be different. For women it is usually about what others think of them, for men it’s mostly about helplessness and making rational sense of the world. Hard to have those convos.

I've been lucky to find a good therapist, recommended to everyone i know and even some on grapevine.
But i had to go through a lot of shitty ones unfortunately. India doesn't have a lot of therapists in the first place, let alone good ones.
I am sorry you're going through a badtime. It's ok. Feel vulnerable. And get help. Nobody cares, that is true. But you're family and close friends will understand. Keep fighting.
The narrative has been set early on
men with issues == weak men == unattractive
So It inculcates fear of being discarded feeding the vicious cycle of not coming out.
