Help me benchmark my salary

Currently working at a fintech startup (1+ year) as a Product Operations Manager. B.Sc + MBA (new IIM, 2020-22). ~3 years pre-MBA experience with ZS and PwC in analyst roles. Drawing ~19LPA in my present role (after hike). Am I overpaid/underpaid/optimally paid?

I'm frontend React Javascript developer with overall 4 years of experience (out of which 2yrs in react) Sitting with 5Lpa at TCS. What should I answer on expected salary in interviews. And if possible guide me reason for that ask. (Sorry for posting again but really need idea on this)

Overview: Everyone around me, be it old school friends to the people in the bangalore startup ecosystem are planning to or already in the process of doing an MBA. What is happening: Most of the people I know, either are going for a tier 1 MBA in India or colleges like “Carnegie Mellon”/ “INSEAD”/ “NUS” these are really good places. Why am I concerned: I dont have great acade, GEM candidate so I have decided to not pursue CAT at all, and MBA outside India is too expensive. I feel like my job and career are going fine with 4 years of professional experience I am making 25LPA in marketing. I am not keen on doing an MBA but I dont want to regret later. I consider myself to be fairly smart but what happens when I am competing with people who have great brand names on their resume and are actually smart. People on GV with more experience, have you gone through this struggle? Sidenote: I also have friends who have cleared IIM ABC, ISB and not gone, because they just wanted the admit letter. Which is brave lol!

Salary 24 + 3 Exp : 10+ years PSU Bank : 5 Years MBA break : New IIM ( Not baby IIM ) Own Startup : 2 2 Small companies : ( 6 months+ 2 years) : PM and Post Merger Integration. Now 6 months as Business Architect in Stock Exchange Mistake I did by joining a small company with 12 lpa as I need money after my failed startup and COVID happened at the same time. Need genuine suggestions for switching jobs. How it will impact my career path. As I am looking for 40+ lpa which would be decent for me ( i might be wrong )

My brother works in business ops role in one of the unicorn startups in India. He has 10 years of experience and is getting 60L CTC, graduate from tier 1 Engg and MBA. is he paid at market rates or is underpaid/overpaid. He is looking for a switch and since the job scenario isn't that great right now, wants to take an informed decision before making up the mind to quit the current job.

Hi, I am a 21yr old interested in Talent Acquisition as a career path but I am also interested in making a lot of money (50LPA+) as I progress in the field. I’ve done my research using Glassdoor & Levels.fyi but I want to hear from real people on whether such a salary is possible in Talent Acquisition specifically at Director or Sr. Manager Level? (so like 10-15 years down the line for me). I know HRBP pays more but I can’t be arsed to plan parties (employee engagement) or keep attendance trackers (performance review), I enjoy matching talented people with the right companies more.

Hey folks, i hope you all are doing well! I have around 6 yrs of experience now including 6 months of internship in Enterprise Support role for Kubernetes product in a big Product based MNC. I have been in the same company for 5.5 years post my internship, within these 5.5 years I switched to our cloud services team like a DevOps role 2 years back. My role is a Senior Software Engineer but I am not coding much rather its mix of both Operations and Coding sometimes, because of which my development knowledge is rusty and also my DSA too. But I have been able to get things done which are necessary as a part of my daily job. Be it feature development, releases, operations and troubleshooting customer environments. So performance wise I’m doing well I believe. And I’m getting below package. So I got hikes also the package I’m getting is around (35 LPA Fixed + 5 Lacs bonus) have stocks around 10 lacs(just 2.5 lacs per year) Now the main point is even though I’m earning sone money 1] I’m not learning much from the software development perspective and I think work wise I don’t have much experience in pure development, so now I’m stuck how can I make a move to a good unicorn startup as a SDE/SRE? Please suggest any ideas to make such a move. 2] I strongly believe that I’m earning less than what I should be earning after spending 6 yrs in IT. Nowadays 3-4 So now I’m thinking of switching to a different company but again the point [1] comes in my way. 3] How much minimum amount of I should be earning as a base salary, bonus and stocks in a big product MNC or a Bangalore startup ? Looking for advices to learn and which way should I be taking to learn more and get a job where I’ll be doing proper Dev work, please advice on the way to take to do this transition. Thank you!

Hey everyone, seeking some career advice here. So, I've been grinding away in the risk domain at a big financial services MNC for about 2 years now ( have total experience of 5 years from similar companies), pulling in around 30 lakhs INR. Recently, I got a bit curious about what else is out there, so I started poking around. But here's the kicker – every HR rep I chat with says my pay is cool, but they're eyeing up MBA grads from fancy schools for the budget I'm looking out for. Thing is, I know my stuff. I've snagged awards, jumped up the ladder faster. But now I'm starting to sweat about whether my lack of an MBA is gonna bite me in the rear down the line. Plus, with all the chatter about layoffs, I'm low-key freaking about whether my gig here is as solid as I thought. Any advice on how to navigate this maze? Should I bite the bullet and go for that MBA, or stick to my guns and trust that my track record speaks for itself? Appreciate any wisdom y'all can drop!

I am a CA with 12+ years exp with Big4s, and some experience with industry. I am at 60 lpa incl variable and want to understand what is the benchmark for ppl in finance functions in retail industries with same years of exp! afew friends in industry earn 10-15 lpa more than me. Am i benchmarking it right or should i stay put?
