Transfer? Not UAN, buddy. It's your PF balance. Do it online. And tell your new HR. Stop listening to office gossip.

Go to epfo portal -> online services-> One member one pf -> and fill the details there and submit to your current employer.. they will merge your pf accounts
A new pf account with new pf number will be created under your UAN.
UAN will remain same.
You can transfer amount from your old account to new account online
Or
You can transfer pf amount to your bank account that is also online
