How do you host your SSR stack (next/sveltekit/remix)?- Grapevine

I'm a backend developer with 5 years of experience.
I've been tasked to create a simple website for a friend's startup.
I'm very strong with the development and hld of things but I've never done independent deployment of an app or website end to end.
What are my options here ?
I'm aware of options like AWS, digital ocean etc.
Should I even consider things like WordPress or the genz things like no code ? Do they give me enough control to do fun things or I'm always at their mercy?
Since it's a pretty early stage thing.. infra cost is very much an issue.

To Frontend folks out there, have you worked with Remix?

Next.js has a great community support i know, but my requirement is securely render SSR pages for private dashboard and to mask + secure the API calls. The APIs already exists, i don’t need to make any DB queries.

Given the scenario what would you go with?

I have 6 years experience. My current base/fixed is 60 LPA. (I also got a 5 lakh bonus and 5 lakh of my ESOPs vested this year making my total vested about 30 lakh. So the total comp is 70). 

I'm being offered a senior engineer position in an early stage startup (as part of the founding engineer team). They haven't given an offer yet.

Being early stage, the emphasis will most likely be on ESOPs. How do I evaluate this and set my expectations? (If I were to switch to a mature company, I believe the hikes usually are between 15-20%? How does this work for early stage startups?)

Q. I want write the most sophisticated code as I am not sure if I am using the best practices in the industry like securing pages, API calls, components etc. I use react js. Where can I learn the best coding practices a professional should follow... 
2. I have another query as well.. 
We use next js just for front end and we are not utilising it's full potential like ssr etc. Is it worth using just for front end? People in my company say it provides better route structure but on the contrary.. React feels like a play ground whereas next is limited in provided libraries. What do you have to say.

Thinking of building a collaboration platform as a side project. Kinda like slack. If you were me, how would you folks start? What stack would you prefer?

I am working on a gaming application. It will contain 4-5 small 1v1 and multiplayer games. The users can add money and play and earn the winnings. 1)What would be the best tech stack like complete frontend,backend, database,clouds and services like Kafka,aws etc that can be used for the purpose. 
2) What all licences, registration needed etc.
3) is it better to build the app in house or give it to a company for development??

Which technologies to use..

Hi, I am a computer science graduate and I wanted to know the best way to learn backend coding to build and deploy APIs on an ec2 or equivalent service. I think i didn't get too much exposure in college so I want a guided course that I can watch and do every night for 30 mins over 2 months so that I can learn this. I currently understand data structures etc. but can't build anything end to end.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'll go with the option that has the highest upvotes and backed by reasoning.

Regardless of your skill/experience/industry/background/market conditions - if you wanted to learn a new tech stack - what is it and why? 
Don't give answers like this or that pays better. looking for answers from people who genuinely love solving problems. Crazy infeasible answers eg Haskell+flutter also welcome.  
Just trying to see how far dreamers go.

So, I've been working with ReactJS for quite some time now. Kinda getting bored. So, I decided to spend some time upskilling this month and start applying for jobs next month.
I have 2 things in my mind that I want to pickup, but unable to decide in what order I should add them to my arsenal.

- NextJS 13 (app dir)
- TS (for both ReactJS and NextJS)

I also wanted to expand myself from frontend to fullstack (probably to MERN), but some fullstack devs suggested me to stick to one end and get really good at it because your expertise in one end is what fetches you a good job and not being a "jack of all trades, master of none" dev. So, this has also kept me in the middle ground right now.

I did try to explore nextJS with a UI library but most UI libs ask you to have them declared as client components. Doesnt that defeat the advantage of SSR that we get on nextJS by default? Saw many people facing this issue.

What would you suggest ?
