How does Carry work in VC?

While the standard is 20% for the whole fund once they hit the hurdle rate. From what I've heard there is a small % allocated that's shared with team members depending on your hierarchy and a few other factors, relatively could be under early single digit %. Though not a VC, you should confirm with a few others.

Junior roles usually don’t get carry. Partners do. But ask for sure.
