We had plum in my previous organisation. It was really good. The claim process was also hassle free according to my colleagues who went for surgeries. Would definitely recommend them over the traditional ones.

One more thing, internally they partner with ICICI Lombard, Care and others for the services. Main thing was our HR really liked the simplicity of it

Hey folks, I work at Plum and this week launched our State of Employee Benefits report (https://www.plumhq.com/state-of-eb). We dug into a ton of data and turns out employees in India don’t really get a good deal when it comes to insurance and other health benefits. Here’s some more interesting aspects - 

1. While Unicorns are doing better than most companies out there, even competing unicorns could have vastly different policies and coverage

2. Enterprise safety is a real thing. They definitely tend to do better than all the ‘hyper-growth, hustle is life’ startups

Recently caught up with a friend who works for an “employee friendly” HR tech company. This brand has been boasting about how great they are with the sort of employee benefits they offer. The founder specially keeps boasting about this on LinkedIn and Twitter. 
Found out yesterday, that the employee benefits come at a cost of micro management and a toxic environment at the workplace. Really sad to see the perceptions that the brands create and the reality they offer. 

Would you prefer:
1. Few employee benefits with no micromanagement? Or
2. More employee benefits at the cost of micromanagement?
