hey guys, I'm interviewing at a startup currently and they are asking me if I can work 6 days a week for a couple of months initially till the Product goes live. how do I respond to this? I want to take the offer but the 6 day work week is what pulling me back from accepting the offer.

Only tech Bros keep crying about work life balance!

Ask any tech bro to work on Saturday and they will start crying about work life balance. FYI most professionals in India work on Saturdays. In India more than 90% folks are self employed. Lawyers, accountants, doctors, plumbers, carpenters, business owners all of them work on Saturdays. Your work life balance comes because you enjoy their services on Saturday and Sunday going around spending money and having fun. So not working on Saturday is a privilege and not a compulsion. On one side we are sad that companies lay us off and on the other side we want work life balance even at the cost of the growth. We despise anyone who creates wealth. Chal kya raha hai? Sabko startups mein bhi MNREGA scheme chahiye kya? Have some growth mindset folks. With so much work life balance you are just stuck in Manali traffic jam and Krishnagiri toll booth.
