How much do you earn

Recently started earning and honestly living a comfortable life with a much lower salary than most people talk about. Doing the math, I don't see myself needing more than 18L-24L in hand to save and continue living comfortable (but I am someone who always likes to do more and get paid more). If you're <30 and earning this much money, why do you push for higher salary (eg from 30LPA to 40 LPA) - is 30 not enough? Genuine query, open to any perspectives 🙏

Hey folks, I'm a recent graduate, got a job at a startup and the base will be <15, >10. Shifted to Bangalore (more like returning after 6 years, lived for 4 years before that). Since I'll be starting my full time journey soon, I want to know how you guys split your take home salary into needs, wants, luxury, savings, investing etc. Currently, I'm in a rented flat in HSR (my split is 7k) and will rent out/buy some home appliances. Food would be around 10k a month (no maid, all outside). I just want to know your experiences on spending and handling money. Not that I'm bad at it, but this is the start of my journey and I would like to know how other people manage their money, so I'd know if I have to tweak some things. Do tell any strict DOs/DONTs, common mistakes.

Planning to buy a house. I'm confused about what should be the max price range I should be targeting for. I was okay with going till 2 cr since I would be able to do 40% down-payment and take loan for 15 years whose monthly EMI wouldn't be more than 1/3rd of my monthly in hand salary. But after talking to few folks, realized that people are actually okay going for costlier properties. People who bought house in last 3-4 years, what % down-payment did you do and what % of your in hand salary is your EMI?
