How much package to expect as 1.8 years experience SDE -1

So hello Everyone , A short intro , i am a 2023 grad , fumbled a 32 lpa SDE job in last round in college placement . I was among the last 2 out of 500 students and the other guy got selected or you can say i run out of luck.🙂 This left a scar ,guilt and trauma, however got placed as a cloud engineer during last week of my college. I always wanted to do development and create stuffs . My current role is more of a support so now I want to switch . Yoe :1 year 2 months Salary:9 lpa (7.5 base) Fully remote i had solved around 220+ questions on leetcode and had a good grip on DSA but it’s been a year since i solved any questions there. So now i will again start coding and solving leetcode from STRIVER A to Z dsa course and working on harkirat 0-100 development projects. I aim to make myself interview ready at the end of week 5 while keeping my current job and then look for interviews during my notice period. I am ready to take a leap of faith and grind hard . I will keep updating on every Sunday about number of questions and development projects i worked on . Hope it motivates you all to improve and get better at life . I am going to use this sub to record my weekly improvements . I am open to any suggestions by my people here . Wish me luck ✨

Someone who is looking for a switch and has an experience of 3 years. What shall be the avg salary they should be expecting?

Hi folks, I am a 2023 passout with ~11 months of experience. I am looking for a job switch, cuz i am not getting paid much (10 LPA), and on top of it currently on verge of layoff (company getting acquired). Looking for a job switch and good work, that's it. I don't care about the location, remote or not, startup or big tech etc. Please let me know if your organisation is hiring. I am currently working on Python, Kubernetes, OpenStack etc. I have a good understanding of backend engineering, a good hold of DSA, have been part of a prestigious open source program during my college and have around a year of overall internship experience (excluding FT ex).

I have 2yoe as backend developer. My base is 20 and had a bonus of 5 which will end this month. I am thinking of applying for SDE-2 roles, what salary should I expect?

Planning to start prepration for switching to other companies for SDE2, have around 3 yrs of experience now totally. What should I focus on more? I am pretty okay in DSA, but still will start from scratch. Any resources or roadmap that can help for SDE2 roles in companies like Microsoft, Google, Walmart or Atlassian, etc. Current compensation is 20lpa, looking for around 35lpa in switch. Any resources or roadmap or your experience will be very helpful, thanks. P.S. - Will be switching next year after appraisal, just gonna start preparing now.

How much can I expect in terms of CTC while switching. YOE 2 , GOLang backend developer. Currently I am getting 10LPA I have an offer of 17 LPA , how much can I stretch this offer? How much more can I ask I am expecting somewhere around 25 lpa is this reasonable?
