How should I change my technology from Java to Data Science

I have got two offers, One from MathCo (Data Analyst) Bang location, other is Accenture (ASE) Pune location. Salary wise almost same only mathco gives 20% you hike. Which to join? My current location is pune so savings wise Accenture is better option but roles wise mathco is giving data science role. So bit confused which path to choose?

Hi All, I have 6 YOE. Initial 2.5 years I worked as Backend developer in Python, Django, AWS and Little bit JS. After that all of my experience is in Data Engineering mostly in GCP (have few certifications as well.) Currently I am working at Walmart. Most of the work I do in Data side is adhoc and projects are also not upto the expectations lot of manual work is also there. I am not really enjoying my career as data engineer. Pay is good. I am thinking to move back to Software Engineering, 1. is it a good idea for long term? 2. What skill should I focus on if I have to move back? 3. Is it just the projects that I am working on making data engineer look less interesting to work ?

As a SWE having 5yoe in Java I find myself absolutely bored and done with this profile currently preparing to switch to Data Analytics domain and try to build my tech stack from there. I wanna ask how many of you successfully transitioned and what tips would you offer. Also query to managers who are interviewing such roles what are your expectations and suggestions. Any advice to help me is welcome

I'm working in service based company in worst tech (acc to me ). There are not enough projects still they hire so many freshers . Current now I'm 1 year 3 months exp I'm doing self study of data engineer and done some decent project . Should I plan for internal switch or look for outside opportunities. Will I get atleast mid senior role outside?(im planning after 2 years exp) I don't wanna start again in entry level. What checklist should I follow to successful switch. I didn't get any hike for my first year( that's y I'm planning all this) I respect every advice and criticism in my plan Thanks in advance.

Like the Data Frameworks: Airflow,SSIS,Azure Factory And Dataworks like Snowflake,Databricks,Postgres I need some guidance on which tool to start learning and if I plan to learn these tools for the next 6 months. Is it possible to crack the interviews....this is my 1st switch to a new company. Can anyone pls suggest which framework, Dataworks tool i need to start and has high possibility for getting switch to new company. If possible can you pls share the learning path 🙏🙏🙏. Hi everyone, I am working in Infosys as an spring boot developer since 3 years..but in project worked as application management and enhancement work not written actual code in application, this makes me very scary and I am unable to write the code... So I thought to switch my career from spring boot developer to data analyst. Please help me to find the correct path..is it a good decision to switch my career as data analyst. Thanks in advance
