How to stay relevant post AI takeover?

With AI improving we see it is quite capable of writing decent codes, how can someone new to tech decide on what to pick up? Frontend or Backend or both. Nowadays they say Full stack developers are in demand but shouldn't one be good at at least one thing and have knowledge about other things? How to prioritise what to learn. There are just so many things that I'm a bit confused as to what to learn and focus on. I'd like to seek advice from a future perspective, and any predictions on how the tech industry might shape up.

I recently read an article about the growing skills gap in the tech industry. Apparently, universities just can't keep up with the lightning-fast changes in the field. It got me wondering - how do you all stay relevant in your careers? Especially with AI taking over jobs. Are there certain skills or certifications you think are essential for staying competitive?

Hey Everyone, I am a 3YoE backend developer with little AI role and web development experience in the industry and I wanted to grow my career as more like an ✨Elite Engineer✨ who not just builds stuff but optimizes it to the core, oversees the future bottlenecks, the alternative approaches blah blah and you get the point. But the problem is that my learning is all over places. Please suggest/ guide you to be that ✨Elite Engineer✨ if you can. I want to continue to be a backend engineer (no more switching domain) Disclaimer: I don’t want to do it because of the money (of course I need a future) but to have a solid understanding of it (it would be great if I end up as SDE)

Currently I am in college 3rd year(EEE). Since there aren't really many jobs in EEE. I decided to pursue my carrier in software. So far I have learned full stack development and built some small websites to. Since the internship season is coming I have applied for a lot of postions on various websites but not really getting any replies. So my question is should i continue grinding the full stack devlopment even though competition is at all time high(saw 2000+ applications for 1 intern postion 🤡) and fear of AI(DEVIN) Study AI/Ml since it's the trending topic. But there aren't many postions jn india Learn web3(solana +rust). Many people are telling there is no future in it. But I saw some of my frnds printing money in this tech So senior software enginnering please 🙏 help your fellow junior

Hi, I am an Android application developer with 10+ years experience and currently serving as a Senior Team Lead in a company. There are already a huge number of developers in mobile application development. To stay in job, I was thinking of making career shift to AI or ML by doing trainings into it. Is this thought process good?

Nowadays, everyone is saying that AI will replace engineers, and it could be the reason for layoffs. This situation is making me more tense, especially as I'm primarily a frontend engineer (currently learning backend). If this is true, what should I do? Please guide me.
