Hey, I am a recent b.tech graduate and looking for an Opportunity, but every time I apply and the majority of time no responses but if I get any response then it is like we are not moving forward with your application. It's been 4 months since I passed my bachelor's degree. Still I haven't got any chances for an interview. it doesn't matter if I am not selected or not but at least I want to know where I am lacking or need improvements . Sometimes I feel like I am worthless, and have no purpose in life... What should I do , is it common?

I'll be graduating soon from college with a Bachelor in Engineering and I am unable to get any interview calls let alone the jobs,  I've been applying to job openings and have lost count now they should be in hundreds. I've applied to openings which include experience of 1+, 2+, and 3+ yrs hoping some might count my internship experience of 1.5 yrs (1yr in one and 6 months in other) where I've worked on actual products and not on some bootcamp projects. I have only received automated emails of rejections and 0 calls. 

My main skills include frontend dev with Reactjs (and other framework like Vue) and know almost all the popular libraries associated with that along with that I am also familiar with backend dev using nodejs and currently learning go programming language.

There's so much to say but I want to keep this post short. I want to know what should I focus on there's so much confusion and it's getting harder to sail the boat with all these news of layoffs and hiring freezes for which I am not sure if I am taking it as an excuse for being not skilled enough.

So basically like every time I see a job vacancy I do apply for it.. But I'm not sure why I never get any calls back Or mails and these days I only see vacancies where they want only experienced people like more than 5 or 10.. I mean...where am I going wrong in this job hunt... I'm having 2 yrs of exp where I have wasted 1 yr being in bench so I could say I didn't get a lot of insight for my yrs of exp.... It sucks tho.... 😢 where should I start now what should I do? Completely blank...

Hi Grapeviners, I have ten years of work ex in performance marketing and CRM. I started job search actively from Feb 15 this year and landed first interview today. 

How bad is the market out there. I usually get hired with in 30 job applications, also I apply to the role only if 70% and above role match with my previous experience also use referrals when available.

So, my intern period ends this month. They said they are going to convert me to full-time, but the problem is I researched and found that full-time time salaries are almost equal to intern stipends(20k) .

Need a senior advice, I have recently graduated with a cs related degree and constantly applying for jobs but have no luck it's almost one month, and tbh I must get a job this month and I am stressed about it

I have the skills needed for the market still have no luck in finding a job, cold-emailed, and DM'ed to the employees working in the company I'm applying for. Didn't even get a single response from them Don't know what to do . 

I know many people got jobs even during this rough recession . I really wonder how they have passed this stage . It's really stressful and exhausting

Feeling exhausted

Recently started giving interviews and cleared a few rounds in a couple of companies. I never heard back from any of them even if I felt the interviews went well. Very frustrated because of this as I fail to understand how difficult is it to just reject or send a rejection email if they don't want to hire. I understand that companies have 100s of candidates in their pipeline but it's so frustrating to not even get any rejection mail and get stuck in a limbo.

Why do companies ghost after interviews?

I graduated from college about 3 months back and have been applying, cold emailing and doing everything but things aren't moving- either there are too many applicants, budget is not right or the role is shit. I have good internship experience with established cos. but still unable to land at a good place where I can grow and learn.

What shall I do? Do you know if someone's hiring? I have also been thinking about doing masters but not so keen.

I'm already 7 months in & I'm slowly starting to give up now. The positive affirmations, the "your time will come" crap is just not working anymore.

Financially, I'm a mess. Living in constant stress & anxiety, parents don't believe in me, can't go out & have a drink with my friends since i have deliberately been out of contact with them.

I belong to lower middle class family and I have just completed my graduation in BCA from an open University. I have worked in Service based companies. Have worked as a CSA in Concentrix and as a Content Moderator in TechM. My last process was ramped down in October, last year so I'm unemployed since then. At first I was focusing on my final year exams, but now as I have received my degree, I want to work somewhere. But I'm not getting, some companies aren't even updating the status of my application. I'm really lost and not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m currently looking for a job switch as currently my position in the organisation is not quite good to stay. So I have to join somewhere asap.
I’m actively applying and looking for new job   Role as front end developer. I’m trying to apply actively on Naukri and LinkedIn .
Plus also applied through referrals in few companies.
But I don’t know why I am not getting any calls for the interview.
I have 1.9 months of experience with infosys plus 6 months internship in Cognizant.
I’m quite worried now as I’m not receiving any calls, is there something I’m doing wrong.
Please anyone can help me by suggesting something which can lend me calls for interview.
Can analyse my resume and see if it’s correctly aligned or not?
Or normally things like this take more time than this, I’m being impatient?

Not getting calls for Interview

Hey guys, 

I'm a recent engineering graduate from a Tier-1 University with decent skills and cgpa. 

As I graduated, I got placed in a MNC as a consultant. But I haven't heard any updates from them yet. Worried about my future, I've started applying to companies for internships and jobs too.

But not only am I not getting selected, I'm not getting any kind of updates from these companies too. Not even as much as a rejection mail. I've recently hit three digits in the number of applications and it's worrying me to see no responses. 

So this is my humble request to the community to help me find a job. I'm a skilled data analyst with proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI and Python. I also did many projects on data science and machine learning but my primary interest lies in analytics. 

Even anything as small as a suggestion/tip on what to do or how to proceed would be helpful !!!

Frustration on a daily basis

I have been applying for data analyst and junior data scientists role for the last 3 months but not getting enough response. I apply for more than 20+ jobs on daily basis lekin tab bhi kuch nhi ho rha hai. I have built 2 project on ML, 1 on NLP and 3-4 good project on data analytics. I graduated in May 2023 then I decided to learn Data science ( uske pehle bhi college me 3-4 mahine thoda padha tha) now I have so many doubts regarding my career and rejection
- Just because I'm fresher that's why they are not choosing me ??
- I'm from non-tech ( Bsc) .. isiliye
- or current job market hi accha nhi hai 

Ab to kabhi kabhi apne decision pr regret bhi hota hai.

To solve the experience issue I have decided to do a decent marketing job (only for 6-7months) so that I can show it in my CV aur kuch savings bhi kr lu.

Please guide me if you guys have any advice for me.

Need Advice

I am a senior software engineer with 6 + yoe mainly into backend (java and golang tech stack).

I am currently serving my notice period with no offer in hand.(my last day is April 30)

I have applied and given interviews to almost 12 companies and failed after clearing 2 or 3 rounds.

I feel that I am losing confidence in my skills when I face such rejection even though I shouldn't.

I feel like whatever answer I give during interviews is wrong and I constantly try to lookup the internet in the middle of interviews in fear of getting rejected.


Even though I know things very well I try to validate it and then mug up whatever is written on the internet and whenever a new question is asked which I haven't seen earlier where I would be required to think , i blank out.


This has never happened to me earlier.. I need some advice on how do I keep confidence in my skill and start solving things on my own.
