I am having similar problem,I have cats at my home and I miss them a lot .Here I cannot keep cat because  owner doesn't  allow .I thought of finding some shelter where they have cats and I can spend some time with thme but not present here .I have seen one cafe Blue cafe hyd something but they are charging 500 something for 2 hours

I'm posting here after checking with a few people through references or "Flats And Flatmates" group.

I will be moving to Gurgaon in the 2nd half of April and need to find a room in a flat. The issue being raised by everyone is that they aren't comfortable if I bring my 2 cats (which is fair). 

I cannot leave my cats that I adopted 6 months ago. I want to move along with them, and thus looking to move in with a group that will happily accept them as well. Both of them are fully vaccinated, neutered, and as friendly as a cat can be.

I don't want to live in a 1RK because it gets way too solitary. Kindly hit me up if you are looking for a flatmate and don't mind having 2 entertaining folks in the house.

Been in Bangalore for 6+ years and love everything the city has given me. 
This city ( more like people here) taught me what software engineering and product sense is, how to entrepreneurs function, whats a 100X coder like. 
Made many memories, weekend trips to nearby places were so nice. Dated, moved in and then married my girlfriend, adopted a dog. So Bangalore has given me a lot. 
But in hindsight it takes a way a lot also - 
1. Everybody is in constant work mode, even in parties its just about who is doing what
2. Everybody is in loot mode here - i have seen locals pay less for veggies/fruits in front of me, then the veggies apparently have lead in them
3. Rents/builders/brokers/roads - we all know whats up with them 

Though it was nice initially, now i feel like even after earning so much ( ctc > 1cr) if i just spend it all here ( monthly expenses ~2lacs same is with all my married friends), what is the point even.

Hence making a move to slow life now, where you get a house with garden for 25k and fresh veggies and you can actually develop some relationship with community. 

This urge to always outperform in career is not really needed, we all eventually work towards savings and hence if i earn less but spend even lesser, its more or less the same thing for me.

But i dont want to live in a matchbox, travel 1 hour to meet a friend, eat a roti for 150bucks and be in constant anxiety about climbing the ladder. 

All i want is to focus on health, and sit in a garden in some sunshine with my wife and my dog and enjoy a cup of tea. 

So yes, I AM DONE. Moving to a tier 2 ( more like tier 2.5 town )

Apparently, a family of cats had adopted our family some time back (Have food from here, stay at our place, essentially not inside - but kind of welcome to kitchen and other places when threats loom around). 

It's been almost 3 generations now. Now, the main thing that I need your help with: 

One of them became mother to 3 kittens yesterday. All of us have ran out of names for them, since it's been a lot now. Please suggest some good names for them 😇
(we always name them something and end up knowing that we got their gender wrong - anyway I don't know that yet)

Not related, but sharing with you all:
- they really like vegetables as much as milk/non-veg
- they kind of shout for food at sharp 7:00 am, and my mom and dad gives them the same (they adore dosa and tea)
- They do understand what we say, and behave accordingly. Apparently, a couple of them call my mother 'amma' or 'ma' in a much sweeter way than me!
- They know how to stand up and remove locks from the doors.

It’s clear to me that this isn’t good for me. My interaction with the outside world and being in the present is inversely proportional to how much I use IG/smartphone.

IG is obv the strongest drug, but in general want to be more conscious about what I do on my phone, when Inuse it.

Hi all

I was in the process of adopting a pair of cats (mother and child duo). Unfortunately, I’m not in a position to do so, my landlord is strongly against it and my parents are too reluctant to adopt, I can’t force this responsibility onto them. Both are litter trained and sterilised, the mother is half Persian.

If I could ever get to adopt a cat, this would definitely be it. I can only hope that someone here could help them out.

Urgent Help

- Young boys of Juhu, Bandra, Versova all look like Aryan Khan and Vedang Raina (Archies starcast), like everyone is an actor here or what?
- The traffic isn't shitty, the drivers are. They are coming at you from everywhere, left right front. If you can drive here, you are good for anywhere tbh
- Only 1% of the Two wheelers drivers wear helmet. No fear of traffic cops if not for life?
- The roads man, the roads. Never appreciated Delhi/Gurgaon more than seeing such tiny roads across the country 
- The pay disparity is on the face! Posh areas with tall buildings are lined with small houses - tarpaulin roof, bare walls but AC units
- The family bond is very evident - families watching TVs together with windows open (why don't they draw curtains tbh?) or be it on beaches over the weekend. It's cute nonetheless ❤️ 
- The safety is crazy (in a very good way). I was out at 10pm last night, and my mind was panicking like shit. But looks like, be it 10 am or 10pm, it is BAU for the city
- Have you seen the traffic signals? Apart from the usual, they have four tubelights in perpendicular. Just cannot jump lights now!
- Metro has 4 coaches 😆 

- The Sea heals parts of your soul you didn’t even know were broken 🥺

I am doing work from home from last 2 year and it's pretty good

but my entire friend circle has moved to their office location delhi, blr aur Bombay and my college friends also got split into different cities

Sure, we catch up during occasional visits or hometown hangouts and trips, but most days, it's just me, myself, and my laptop. I've tried moving to Bangalore and stayed couple of months, but traffic take lot of time to just meet  friends and people are mostly into over work and then just drinking and smoking and don't want to talk about flats, transport and other problem

so whoever doing work from home from their hometown, how do you deal with this

my hometown is tier 3 city and routine is kind of wake up, coding, gym, movies or anime or leetcode and sleep
